Card error
Is this the card you always used, or did you recently buy a new card?
Because you can use MMC cards and SD cards. Most SD cards you now buy, even the 2 GB ones, are SDHC cards and they are not compatible with your camera.
You should try to get an SD card. They used to make SD cards up to 4GB, but as I said, now they already make 2GB SDHC, So look careful when buying a memory card.
If it was the card you always used, try to get all pictures from the card, using an external memory card reader on your computer. Then in the camera do a format, before you continue.
If it does not work, try an other card. SD that is.

if you are runing window xp you can search for diver online . just do search aiptek dv4500drive . when u down load make sure u unzip file
2 questions: 1 how do I copy from memory to
the window compatibily say these are compatible to them . but i have the came problem , my computer think it a dv 5900 wich is not compatible .if u fond any ansewes please let me know

Don't know how to download my pics or videos on the coputer
There are two way to upload your picture's or video's to your pc:
- You can upload video to the use of your camcorder connector.
Connect your USB cable to your camcorder and plug it to your computer.
You need to turn on your camcorder so that it will be recognized by the
computer.
- You can upload also your video's with the use of memory card
reader. Remove your memory card from your camcorder and insert it to the
card reader. Plug the card reader to the computer. The computer will
recognized the card. Now you can upload your photo's or video's.

I have an aiptek hd camcorder, 1280x720 8 mega
If the images are on the card you select the appropriate pics and then from the MENU select delete. OR you can remove the card and and place it into a card reader select and delete.
