I just bought a Sylvania Dvd player and my remote stopped working. It still plays movies with the buttons on the actual player but any button on the remote just gives me the message "Invalid key"

Sylvania TV (Model:6427GFG)and does not have any remote. I bought new HDMI connector. Trying to connect Laptop to TV but not getting.Connected Yellow/Red/White ports. Please guide me how to setup.

Partial answer, right click anywhere on a blank area f laptop screen, go to properties an left click, you should see options for adding a external screen, add it. You can also locate the tiny screen emblem on upper keys on the laptop and press this key while plugging in the HDMI cord this sometimes will do the trick. Also get the source menu up on TV and choose HDMI 1 good luck.

My Sylvania model LC370SS8 will stay on for a few minutes then go to standby but if I take the back off so it can get air it stays on for 30 mins or so

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. How do I program a vibe 5 in 1 remote to a sylvania tv

First, I'm not a Sylvania representative.
* Model #s and brand of remote and TV for specific solutions.
* You will need to check your 5-1 remote papers (or web site) for the Sylvania TV codes.
* Set up your remote with the correct code (or use code search function)
* Note the TV in the picture is an older "Tube" screen model. The current (New) remotes may not work for this older model. You will need to check the remote specs

Getting sylvania scr1986bt-as in standby mode

I think I cracked the code on this inexpensive but potentially infuriating little clock.When you first plug it in, it goes into STANDBY mode (identified by flashing ":" in the time display). In this mode, you set the time, alarms, preset radio stations, etc.
Once these are set, you go into NORMAL mode by pressing the SOURCE button (in the back row). In NORMAL mode, the : in the time display is steady. In different modes, the middle row and front row buttons do different things.
To return to STANDBY, you have to unplug the cord briefly and plug it back in. In STANDBY, the (front row buttons) AL-1 & AL-2 allow you to "cycle through" [buzzer-radio-off ] options for each alarm , and alter the time setting for each alarm (middle buttons). Once set, just wait and it will accept the new setting and display.
In NORMAL, the front row buttons raise or lower the volume of the radio. CAUTION: if you chose the radio setting for an alarm, and set the volume to 0, it will not wake you up! The middle row buttons only do anything when the radio is playing (SOURCE in the back row), when they can be used to tune the radio up and down, or move to preset station. Note that the SOURCE button is also used to select Blutooth sync, indicated by the blinking Bluetooth light on the right side of the display. To stop this from blinking, press SOURCE until AU (for auxiliary) appears and simply wait until it returns to NORMAL display.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.
