There are 3 round knobs and 1 Autostart switch on the control panel. The key to rewinding this machine is by pushing the gray button down, while turning the Motor Knob to the "Run" position. Of course you'll need to start the original film back on its reel, directly. (Do not thread the film as you would normally.) That's an old camera so unless you can find a used one to use for parts it's going to be difficult to get it repaird.

You can use any brand of film in any camera, as long as it is the same size i.e 35mm. so yes absolutely

If you mean the Fujifilm Endeavor 250ix, this is an APS camera. It uses the so-called Advanced Photo System film, which is extinct. Some vintage camera stores may have a few rolls in cold storage, but you won't find any at an ordinary department store.
