There are lots of audio suppliers and constructor stores so it shouldn't be difficult to find a suitable replacement of the right dimensions and power handling capability.

One option it might be worth exploring is a piezo tweeter. They should have really become popular as they are light and provide good reproduction and don't need a crossover.

Depends whether you want volume or quality - the horn tweeter remains the best option for quality due to the better sound dispersion and the fact the horn design means the tweeter is operating in it's own isolated space and is mostly unaffected by the pressure waves from the other drive units. If building a speaker box from scratch I would always place the tweeter in a small completely separate air tight compartment...

First check all of the ground connections both at the amp and bass. If the amp makes the buzzing with no input at all, the problem is most likely a bad cap in the front end of the amp. These are not the easiest to work on. I would suggest that you bring the amp to a servicer for repair. Anything that you can describe that indicates when the buzzing is more evident would be helpful in tracking down the problem.

Your Aiwa speakers are passive units and need considerable power to drive them to a reasonable volume level, comparative to the output of a PC.

The sound card of a PC produces a reasonable quality output but in the terms of power is a very modest output which is why the usual speakers used with a PC are active types - i.e. have a self contained power amplifier, usually driven by a remote power supply.
This type of active speaker is designed to connect via the headphone/speaker socket and still produce a good quality sound. This is possible as the speaker's internal amplifier is built with a particularly low impedance input that matches the low output impedance of the PC headphone output that would be unsuited to be connected to the average hifi amplifier.

Many PC sound cards have a Line Out socket that would be suitable for connection to many hifi amplifiers.

You may need to make sure the speed control arm that goes from the speed control adjustment screw to the spinning disk on the governor is adjusted and lubricated properly. These items are best adjusted with the motor board out of the machine.

Be careful, if you make the turntable spin too fast the weights on the governor will strike the motor frame and break the governor springs.

You have to sync it to the player. This is often done in some software. For example iTunes has the ability to do it, you don't need to buy music from iTunes to add music to the player. It can come from your own collection. To do it with iTunes you do have to download a version of the software from them, but it's free. Next you select the files you want to sync and then run the sync. You cannot disconnect the player when you do this. But when it's complete copies of the files will be on your player. You then disconnect safely the player, then you can listen to the music.

Is this one of the units that has a ribbon cable ( looks alot like an IDE hard drive cable) that connects all the components together? It also has a squre plastic fan that protrudes slightly from the rear (by about a 16th of an inch)? If so, it's the power module which consists of 2 boards (along the fan housing). You can probably find replacements for about $70, but I wouldn't bother. They quit making new replacements several years ago and any board you get now is just a pull from old stck units.... and they fail about 2 minutes after you put them in. Pioneer knows this but still sells the defective parts.

you need to get into the box, and sort all 100 of the cd's out yes all of them..
to this i mean make sure they are in there tray's properly,second make sure the tray's are not "racked",ie that they have not slid out of there small holder's..
now once u have the mean's open the juke box..
find the black switch, pull it out to engage service mode<,
now u go to work on the cd's, then you will hit "h" 0-0 "h"
this should clear your error 73 code ,as long as all the cd's are in there proper place's
press switch back in, you are then back to normal play
at the point of closing the door you might need to power cycle the juke box

This is a very common issue. Unplug the mini power jack the thing with the cord. Look inside the chargers hole on the jam box and then take a knife to gently bend the tab back towards the middle or even lower. Be careful when you are re plugging into the power into the socket. The socket tab and the mini plug must meet .
