I won't bore you with
Leave them in, do some reading on Bi-Wiring (BUY Wiring), chuckle to yourself and enjoy the sound. Connect one positive to a positive and one negative to a negative. With the jumpers in place there is no electrical difference.

Wharfedale 8.3
Is it old ? Is it making a rattling noise inside ?
Completely lost its sound as in completely stopped sounding like a woofer and has higher frequencys coming out of it or as in no sound at all coming out of it ?
I would say it's probably the crossover, perhaps a burnt resistor.

Speakers not working
Is the speaker getting power from the amp? Try another wire and or speaker to pinpoint the problem. If another speaker works then there is something wrong with your receiver.
Please tell me all the connections on movie star 60+
Each of the five satellite speakers connect directly to an AV Receiver that you buy a separate device.
Here's the back of the sub. The sub either connects to the LFE Sub Out from the receiver to the white RCA/Phono Left Input. Or you can use speaker connection cables, AV Receiver front L & R to Speaker Level Inputs, and then Speaker Level Outputs to the front satellite speakers.
Technics repairs melbourne
Carl,
On the face of it, this suggestion probably seems rubbish, however, drop Wilmslow Audio a line. Although they're in the UK (I'm assuming you're in Australia, unless it's the Melbourne in South Derbyshire!), they carry a massive stock of spares and parts for a wide range of manufacturers. See what they say. They'll give you a price as well if they have it. Might not be cheap, but at least they'll know if they're still made.
The other option is to scour Ebay and/or Gumtree (if you have the latter in Oz). Craigslist is another, but I think new old stock would be the way to go if you can get them, else you're potentially at risk of being back where you started with an older set after a short while.
Hope that helps.
On my 1998 chevy cavalier their is a steal pipe
Hi
I think you mean `steel` pipe, from memory there`s a large nut on the end, if (and it`s a big IF) you can undo that nut I think there is a small rubber seal on the end of that pipe, it may be your problem
good luck
regards,
doug
How can i get a manual for the Wharfedale DS-5957
If google and manufacturer website are of no help then ask a search agency like manualfox.com - They find you every manual. The service is not for free, but often worthy (you only pay if they find what you are asking for).
Not finding what you are looking for?
