Insert a head cleaning disc into it and play it for atleast two times. The fault is with Laser Pickup Unit [ the reading head]. If the fault is due to dust or fungus on its focussing lens, the cleaning disc will wipe it off. If this does not help you, there is no other way than replacing the Laser Pickup Unit with same type and number fitted now. OK.

check the tray loading belt. u can only see the belt beneath the cd tray . if the bet become oversizes due to wear and tear this type of problem can occur. first check that. if it sees ok then there may be problem with any of the loading wheel. also try to lubricate the side of loading tray use silicon grease for the same.

Tvs usualy have a few ways to hook them up. One is a coax cable this is the silver one in the back that you screw in a cable. The second are RCA cables these are the ones that are yellow, red and white. Yellow is always the video and white and red are for audio. If your using the coax cable your tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4 you may have to force the tv to go to that channel by pushing 03 on the remote. If you are using the Rca cables then you need to change the tv to "video 1" or "video 2" this changes the tv from tunner mode to aux input mode. Most DVD players dont have a coax out so you have to use the rca plugs. Some tvs have the rca plugs on the front (video 2) and the back (video 1) or line in. Some tvs have line out also so you need to figure out wich way you have it hooked up. Do a search for the model of your tv and it should show a diagram on how to hook it up.

There may be an audio adjustment in the dvd player that wasenr set up at the factory correctly. depending on how old the unit is I would contact the manufacturer and see if its under the factory warranty as you DO NOT wanna go inside and start turning controls as this will or could throw the entire alighnment out of the dvd player. I(f theres no warrantee then you could ask them if theres an audio output adj and what the pot # was. Or else your gonna need to get a service manual and throw ya back a few bucks. But my guess is that if you bug the service guys enough they will tell you where the adjustment is. Good luck

I can't find a manual for it, but normally you don't search for 'Channels'. The DVD Player is connected via an HDMI socket in the television and you use the Source or Input Button on the Remote to find the HDMI Socket that the DVD player is connected to.
