Could be a power or main board issue, only way to find what board is bad is to do some voltage tests

This could be a bad main or power board along with bad LED backlights, some voltage tests are needed to isolate the issue

Try running the tape end to end twice on fast forward.

If you haven't already taken the batteries out of the remote try that, if that doesn't help you have a bad IR control or main board

Something like this would never be caused by a power board, slim chance of a main, better chance of tcon if it has one and high chance of a bad panel

Sounds like you received a defective board, this model set has a lot of issues with both the main and power, but in your case I'd guess it's a power supply issue if it comes on for a few seconds. Where did you buy the boards from...if it was ebay it's common to get bad boards from there
