No sound,volume bar works
Sorry I dont have a manual but it is available at http://www.servicemanuals.net If you put your ear close to the speaker, with the volume turned up, do you hear any hiss or buzzing? If you dont it could be a bad speaker, headphone jack(if there is one), or the audio output IC or ascoiatated componets. If there is a hiss, then theres a problem with the audio processor or switching IC. If your not a tech, you should not be experimenenting around inside this TV set!
Tv off by itself.

I have the 13 inch and...
If you get channels 2 to 13 nice and clear but the rest are snowy, it means that the TV is set to the broadcast channels, which means that for the channels above 13 it is tuning in the old-fashioned UHF channels. If the TV is set to the cable mode then it tunes in cable channels above 13. To do this, enter the menu and navigate to the tuner settings, set the tuner to standard cable and then do the autoprogram, and the tuner's memory will be set for your cable system.
Tv wont turn on
The sound can be called screaming from the power supply,it senses a short and creates a frequency you can hear, the set has a problem and it needs to be repaired,I will check the horizontal out put transistor for a short, sometimes it goes bad without a reason and sometimes the high voltage transformer is also bad and both have to be replaced but first the transistor only if it goes bad again then you replaced the transformer too.Seek assistance from a servicer if you are not too familiar with tv service,it can be dangerous.
No sound,volume bar works
Sounds like it may be something you did. Have you checked to see if you accidentally put the sound on mute? Try hitting the mute button on the remote control. Also, if the TV has the option to turn of internal speakers (which you would likely find in the menu under audio settings if it does) make sure they are turned on. If these checks fail then we have an electronic problem to deal with.
How come my Daewoo remote 97p1803700 will not work anymore?
The issue with your Daewoo remote 97p1803700 may be due to battery depletion, broken buttons, or internal damage. To resolve the issue, you could try changing the batteries, checking the buttons for any physical damage, and cleaning the interior of the remote control. If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to take the remote control to a professional repair service. As for the eject button, the functionality may be limited by the remote control model and the device it is controlling. It may not be possible to add an eject button to your current remote control, but you could look for alternative remote control models that offer the eject button

Connect to Emerson tv to remote?
To connect your Emerson TV to a remote control, you can follow these steps:
- Make sure the batteries are properly inserted in the remote control.
- Turn on the TV.
- Locate the remote control sensor on the TV.
- Point the remote control directly at the sensor and press any button to see if the remote is working.
- If the remote is not working, try changing the batteries or resetting the remote control.
If you are still having trouble connecting the remote to your Emerson TV, you may need to consult the TV's manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

How to change the resolution on a Emerson tv?
What is your video source? I have only seen this message on TVs when a connected set top box was set to an unusable resolution. (For example, a set top box set to progressive scan when the TV can only handle interlaced scan. For a full HD video source these would be labeled 1080i or 1080p. There might be other characters in the settings menu list, depending on the source.)
When my cable box did this when using an HDMI cable, the simplest solution for me was to connect the cable box to the TV using a RF cable. Both the set top box and the TV had RF connections. My TV has both a menu button and a source button on the front panel. I set the source to TV. Then I was able to tune to channel 3; channel 4 can work. (Scanning for channels from the on-screen menu was available without a remote.) Then I used the set top box's remote to access that menu. Then I got to Settings > Hardware Settings > Video. Then I could change the output video resolution for HDMI back to 1080i.
This is harder with some of the streaming devices with only an HDMI connection. I hope this helps. Please add a comment to let me know which model TV and device have the resolution mismatch for additional steps to resolve the problem.
