Acer EXTENSA 4630Z COMPATIBLE LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 141 WXGA GLOSSY CCFL (654367717806) Questions & Answers
Input not Support
It sounds like the resolution for your computer graphics are not compatible with your display.
In any case first thing to check is if the monitor cable has been disturbed; next try powering-down (everything) and leave it for a few minutes, power back-up and see if it fixes itself, if not Power-down, wait a few seconds, Power-up then press Shift & F8 as soon as Windows starts loading (you have to be quick, so might need several attempts), that should get you to the recovery Screen, then Try TroubleShoot and Automatic Repair.
Also, you might strt up in Safe mode. If your montor works, might be the driver.
Make recovery disk for acer extensa 4630z?
If you have precious files on your HDD and it's inaccessible at present I would download a copy of Puppy Linux and burn it to CD (or buy one off ebay for 2 euros). Boot off this and browse to your HDD, copy files to a USB memory stick if you have one. I assume you've tried SYSTEM RESTORE in Windows and it isn't accessible or doesn't work. If this is so, you could try ebay for these extenza recovery disks. Failing that you should use your Windows installation disk to do a REPAIR INSTALL (Google for instructions). If you have not got one you could buy one from ebay for your OS but that could be costly. A cheaper way is to buy one of the many system restore disks available on ebay but you will risk having malware. Good Luck
Battery light flashing red
If you are using AC, remove battery. Charge battery and remove when plugged in for a period of time. It will last longer, the battery has a finite number of charge cycles.
While browsing net r watching movies my lap(acer extensa 4630)shut down itself
The processor has to perform large amount of work while surfing , especially while usingvideos and animationMultiple windows/tabsnumber of browserwhich in turn produces lot of heat . The heat produced is managed by the interneal heat sink and inbuilt cooling fans. But this cooling process may get affected by the blockage in air vents due to dust.So to safeguard the laptop form overheat, it automatically shuts down. One simple try :Go to the Adobe flash properties and disable Hardware acceleration for online content. That ought to stop the system from rebooting or crashing. Else...Its better to call a technician when it shuts down often.....
The laptop is booting but not coming on the screen. what can i do to solve the problem?
Sometimes when your laptop edures a traumatic drop, slamming of scream, even bumping it into the hall/wall corner you dislodge the connections to your laptop monitor. Pretty simple to fix but getting to that area or your comp can be a pain. Remember you take a chance of voiding warantee if 1 exists. In my experiences this has always fixed my no screan problems and I am no comp pro. Hope it works. Let me know man
Mpowering technology pop up
Couldn't get rid of mpowereing technology pop up. Tried every solution offered by the internet. Finally I noticed when I powered up my computer the pop up showed up even before the computer loaded anything. I turned off the power to the monitor and powered it back up an viola, pop up gone. The Acer monitor had generated the pop up.
My Acer X1110 switches off as soon as blue light comes on?
it needs service, and service manuals are hard to find on anything by the likes of ACER.
this projector worked for 12 long years, did you own it 12 or bought a bad projector, no history told as I can buy dead projectors all day long. and hard nut problems even hacking done.
Acer X1110 data projector Standard throw projector..
did you know most projectors have serious grade protective devices inside??? (tamper and overheating are 2)
did you read owners manual page 32 yet, errors.
LED codes.?
there are 4 LED, and all 4 matter, projector turned (ON) (not one =1)
also in pairs glowing and also if blinking or not, so read page 32
it tells all that.
my guess is overheat failures, even cold, due fan slow or packed in lint after 12 years of use and no service done,.

some have dust filtler
a shop first cleans is out first, and check fan RPM with and LED tachometer.
this is all SOP.
''e'' button :acer empowering technology
That button can be set using the utility on your programs list
It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.
Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
