You need a USB cable ( you can easily found on local shop).
And also need a driver ( software in your PC) to ease your task later

You can download the software for your camera from JVC's website. Here is a link to the user manual for your camera from their website. Save a copy for future use.

1. Go to Start>> Right click My Computer>> Manage>> Device Manager 2. Expand the USB Controller section 3. Right click and Uninstall All of the listed USB devices 4. Reboot the system

If its a new camera return to the store for a cd or exchange for a new one.

You can also install their software from that link but I'd recommend using Picasa, Google's software instead. JVC don't seem to offer very good support for cameras.
