Cost of film rental?
You don't normally rent film - you purchase a roll, take your photographs, then have it processed so you can see the results

Can I drive myself home after having film vacuum from my eye
Hello, Joyce -
I have no idea what medical procedure on your eye you are referring to with the phrase "film vacuum from my eye."
Are you asking about surgery to remove a cataract from your eye? If so, then, based on my husband's experience, the answer is no. His doctor's office made sure he had a driver (me) to drive him from his out-patient cataract surgery. They were required by law to make sure he did not drive himself from his surgery appointment.
I suggest you contact your doctor's office and ask your question.
Note:
Fixya.com, where you posted your question, is a website intended for asking and answering questions on how to go about REPAIRING THINGS.
Best wishes.

Konig tripod - can't get quick release plate off
I had the same problem a few minutes ago. You don't need to unscrew any of the fixing but make sure the larger silver bolt is not tight. The instructions are: 1. Use your thumb to push down the silver lever to the left of the spirit level. 2. Whilst holding this lever down slide the top of the top of the quick release mechanism to the right (looking at the spirit level) and it should come off. Once you do it you'll know how much force to apply in future. If this doesn't work try loosening the large bolt a little more. You can safely remove it, but remember to replace it as it is used for locking the quick release. Note that the locking only starts after this bolt is turned 2-3 times, before this the quick release should work fine.
