Yes, you have the capability to do so. However, I seriously recommending updating the RAM to the maximum capacity.

Can I install Windows XP
Yes you can...
Installing Windows XP on a Emonster 600 is the same process as installing Windows XP on any Windows-compatible personal computer. The process is not difficult, and can be completed quickly.
#1 Insert the Windows disc and restart your computer. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press a key. Windows will begin the set-up process.
#2 When a list of hard drive partitions appears, delete each of them by pressing "D" to delete and "L" to confirm deletion. When finished, you should only have one choice: "unpartitioned space."
#3 Press "Enter", then format using the NTFS file system. Do nothing while Windows begins to install.
#4 Wait for Windows to restart. When the process continues, enter the product key, the time and time zone, and your name when prompted to do so. Allow the installation to continue; it may take some time.
#5 when Windows restarts again, continue the process using the on-screen instructions. The process will vary depending on your hardware configuration.
#6 Connect to the Internet and activate Windows once you reach your desktop. If you can't, you can also activate Windows over the phone. Installation is complete.

E machine does not recognize my external hard
1) Try it on a different USB port. If that doesn't work
2) Try it on another PC, if it doesn't work on either, you've got a faulty drive.
If it works on another PC but not yours, there's something wrong with your PC.
Check PC control centre, ask it to look for new hardware and/or check you device manager, see if its got a yellow question mark over one or more device. Which would mean re-installing

I have a oroblem logging on to my pc even though i
If you can log on to an administrator account you can remove the passwords on other accounts. If you dont know the passwords for any of the accounts you can try ophcrack, which uses rainbow tables to recover passwords from the sam files (where windows keeps passwords, encrypted of course) and let you know what they are. High success rate on XP, not so high on vista or 7. For extra added bonus, its a free open source program.

I dont have any sound coming out of my speakers.
It means that the driver for your sound card is not yet installed. Right click on MyComputer icon then select properties. Click on Hardware then click on Device Manager. Under Sound and Audio Device, look for anything that has a yellow question mark. Right click on it then select Update driver or Install driver. Get the driver CD that came with your computer and install your sound card.
Hope it fix your problem.

Cpu will not boot even in safe mode
Make sure you have'nt left a floppy disc in the drive when booting up.
If you havent press F2 or DEL on startup and enter the bios.
In advanced bios settings ensure that the HDD is set at first boot device, if not select by means of either + or - keys or up and down arrows on number pad.
Press Esc when done and save settings and exit to re boot system.

Beeps on start up
the base 64kb memory is used by the bios to check the basics then pass through to the CPU to start everything up.
Depending on your mobo make, 3 beeps could mean a ram failure or or something more sinister, check the mobo site for beep codes.
If you like you can try re setting the bios on mobo look for JBAT1 terminal and move jumper from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 for a few seconds and then back to 1-2.
Restart pc and set time and ensure you get the Hard Disk drive recognised in the standard bios settings by pressing f8 or similair to auto detect drives, save then exit.

What is NTLDR?
If you have problems re-installing windows with NTLDR (New Technology Loader), the boot.ini file that it uses is damaged.
I have only managed to get this sorted with a Full copy of windows as the recovery cd you get with some pc's have only the ability to restore your pc back to it's original state, which means a complete re-format first, giving no option for the recovery console.
Even when using a full windows copy, the recovery console repairs did not work because it became apparent the HDD was damaged.
You should however be able to install windows again assuming you have your cd/dvd drive as the first boot device but you will be better re- formating the drive when prompted as re installing over the top of windows can still cause problems.
If you know what your doing you can copy the 'NTLDR' from the i386 folder on the disc, in to system by using a boot disk to get into msdos.
