Windows XP/Vista/7/8
it might take some time being a freeware driver solution
Note: it will find all of your outdated drivers
This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point.
Click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated.

Emachine will not run anything
Rundll32.exe errors typically occur in response to the inability of Windows to access an application, program or file as the result of a corrupted or missing DLL (Dynamic Link Library) file or in response to a rundll32.exe virus that has been designed to look like a normal Windows process.
Here are the easiest ways to fix rundll32.exe errors.
Click "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" on your computer's keyboard to open the Task Manager window.
Click the "Processes" tab and search for a rundll32.exe program.
If one is running and appears to be accessing a lot of your system's resources, click "End Process" as it is likely a malicious program and not a true Windows program.
Run software to seek out, detain and remove viruses, malware, spyware and adware.
Often these malicious programs corrupt DLL files or cause them to be deleted or moved and, as mentioned, some rundll32.exe programs may in fact be viruses on your system.
Reboot your computer to update any changes you may have made recently to your files and programs.
Many programs and applications require a reboot for successful installation.
Uninstall a recently installed or changed program or application and then reinstall it using the default settings.
An installed program may not have loaded properly, an installation via the Internet may have been interrupted enough to create errors or the program may have a bug.
If you uninstalled a program and see a rundll32.exe error, reinstall the program and then uninstall once more.
Retain the services of a Microsoft certified technician, if all else fails, to review and fix your system's Registry.

RESTORE EMACHINE E528 TO FACTORY SETTINGS
Try restarting...when the eMachines splash screen appears (e)...press Alt+F10 at the same time...this is the method I learned about when my eMachines recovery management would not complete the restoration process...mine is a desktop pc...but give it a try and see what happens.
Where doe's power led,power sw,hdd led on my e-machine
You will need the user's manual for your machine to make sure that you are hooking the wires up correctly. However, most motherboards label these connections directly on the motherboard next to their pins. Look for an area on the mother motherboard with two rows of six to eight pins. Next to them you should labels such as PWR_SW (power switch), RST_SW (reset switch), HDD_LED, PWR_LED, etc. You won't mess anything up connecting something to the wrong pins, but it isn't that hard to figure out as the wires are usually labeled in the same manner as the pins. So HDD_LED would plug into the HDD_LED pins, PWR_SW to PWR_SW, etc.
Www emachines com support

Emachine el1352g 41w
If this is the boot drive, connect to the SATA 0 connector at the back of the motherboard. It is a one way connector about 1/2 inch long. The power is a wider connector that will be loose and comes from the power supply (the cubical metal box). Both will connect to the back edge of the drive.Note that they will only go on in one position, so if it doesn't go on fairly easily, flip it over and try again.

White screen after using usb port
white screen usually means the cable behind the screen has come detached or that cable is damaged. Don't see how the usb has anything to do with it unless it was shorted against this cable.Typically its the cable going to the screen. Sometimes you may get it to work by rocking the screen back and forth from open to close, thus verifying that it's this cable. If this is a macbook, however, a white screen may mean something different.
Fault finding
1.not much info here.>> please leave a model number <<2. more info on issue would help (wont power on, boots to bios but not windows) ill assume the word dead means the system wont power on.3. if the system will not power up then the led is likely communicating a POST message. POST messages can be referenced on the e machines support site. 4. typically one would remove all non-essential hardware and try to boot (ram is pretty much the only essential hardware {depends on the model})\/ if no info on POST messages is found or is not helpful \/5. Power supply can be tested with a multi meter if you have a multi meter see here:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ht/power-supply-test-multimeter.htm6. (WARNING there is a slight chance that you could harm the donor supply try this at your own risk) you can try swapping power supplies if you have one that is compatible (from an old machine or from a different machine for testing purposes). if it boots with diff PSU then that's the problem.\/ for the brave \/ (de-soldering \ soldering can be difficult without the proper equipment and technique read up first)7. look for bulging capacitors on the motherboard if caps are bulging they can be replaced with caps that are exactly the same.
