I usually use this software in this cases ..specially with non brand ..and identify the drivers and sometimes even get download on the list ..download and install and when finish copy the key in the insert key ..and after that open the list and see what you have on your computer ..(it is pyramidal ...kinda like a device manager ..and it has details about the device ..I suggest to identify all the devices and download drivers for them and keep them somewhere safe ..here is the link ..http://www.mediafire.com/?mezeoyv1z41Another way to find out ..is to open it and read teh motherboard name ..and if the audio card is an on-board one just download all drivers for the motherboard ..and operation system in use ..same for a pci card ..take a look and see how it is named and look for the driver by name ..If it is in warranty just use the software I suggested and will identify it right the way ..Just pay attention in case you have an on board and a pci one ..s\download either both drivers or just the one you need..Let me know if you have more misunderstandings ...and please rate my answer if it helps ..

If you get no power, it sounds like possibly the power supply may be bad. If you can replace the power supply with known working unit, that would be a good start. If at that point you still get no power, then possibly the motherboard could have gone bad. Even without the ram installed you should get power through the board and when you try to boot you should get a beep or series of beeps. I would start with the power supply tho.

restore from system restore in system tools make sure you choose latest one check point to restore so you wont lose any software installed prior that check point

A video card can use AGP, PCI, and PCI-E slots. If it is a older model it should have either AGP or PCI ( Mainly AGP ). Many video cards are still available for these slots.
