Does Juno dissapear right after install? Or does it dissapear after reboot? If it dissapears right after install, its propably because the user you're using doesn't have the proper permissions to install system critical software. If this is the case a prompt should appear informing you that you don't have the permissions to install this type of software, and that you need proper permissions. If its deleted after reboot, it could be because your malware/virus scanner has flagged it as hostile. or that its not a vista compatible program. I am not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly but if you can remove the front panel of your tower you will have better chances of finding solution like how to use your disk drive with out the door.

I think you might have got a DVD with your machine.. Please put on that DVD and restart the machine.. and go to Bios and make change the setting to boot from the CD drive.. and it will get booted to the recovery dvd and simply follow the instructions from the DVD.. plz not that your data will get deleted once recovery is done..

Can only be done if your disk is an operating system disk. Di this by pressing and holding f11 or f12 after you have put in CD DVD in drive. This will take you to your bios, you will need to change your booting option priorities. Change cd or DVDs to #1 the hard drive to #2 be sure to exit saving the changes. It will reboot but this time on its own it will boot from cd, is going to ask you to press any key to boot from cd, quickly do so and you are done. By pressing the eject button in front of DVD drive, if that's not working or is mechanically damaged, then go to start, then my computer, then you will see your drives. Right click on DVD/CDR the select eject. If you got it stucked with something and it won't eject then you need to find yourself a paper clip and straighten one end, you will then insert and push hard thru a small ejection hole in the front of DVD drive itselft. if the sound setting is definitely ok, then just re-install ur sound driver.

You need to go into the computer setup mode (displayed on the screen on start-up) and enable that function inside the setup utility. There should be a category for Power Management and accessing the settings inside of that utility will enable you to modify the setting and save the new settings. Look at the bottom of the screen for the keys needed to save the setting. Once that is completed, you may also need to check Windows settings to ensure that Windows has it set to enable the system from sleep mode back to an active mode.
