This is an XP machine, which is no longer supported. I recommend backing up your personal data asap, and plan on moving to a newer machine and OS. If the machine won't boot, and you have important files on it, you could purchase a USB Hard Drive Adaptor, pull out the hard drive, and copy any important files to another machine. Good luck.

Try the f8 key before it loads up or the control panel and system recovery if that wont help just type in your computer model and number on youtube it should be a video up for such

id you cant get the password to go through the normal way and the system f8 asks for the password also. find a system os disk (windows xp 7 etc) and just do a clean wipe and reinstall

well if you know what kind of a card it is go to drivers guide and make a free account and down load the software for the card but before you install it go to your device manager and make sure that the card is completely uninstalled then the computer should say found new hard ware copy the folder that has the software in it to your desk top and then when the computer asks go to install from specific place or folder then go to desktop and highlight the folder and install it from there you may need to open the folder and click on a folder that has your os on it (if there is one) if you have any other problems or need help just send me a message

yes there is ethernet connection bilten in mother board just chack back site of your CPU

I would check the power supply, up including the motherboard. you might have a motherboard that has taken a hit.

usually it is the cd it self when it does not wanna load but i have seen keyboards do this even that they work. like i have seen lots of times where u can not press F8 to accept agreement to continue install. if you have different keyboard i would try it and maybe clean the cd or try diffrent one.

It sounds as though the flyback relay on the monitor is failing (I assume it is a CRT). If so, it is not worth repairing. Find an inexpensive used monitor at a secondhand store or garage sale. If the monitor is an LCD, there could be damage to the power supply or to the input connector.

Your emachines eMachines T1100 only supports modules made with a specific type of chip. Should you find what seems to be the exact same memory elsewhere for a lower price, it is very possible that the cheaper memory will not work in your computer. From what I see you should use straight PC-133 Try a site like Kahlon.com-they make sure it works with your computer as would kingston or corsair...
Your maximum amount of ram is only 256mb total.

It sounds like the hard drive has been wiped or is dead or not connected. Check the power and control cables to the hard drive. Check drive with a maintenance diskette or CD. Replace drive if bad. If wiped or replaced, you need to re-install an operating system, such as MS Windows-XP, or Ubuntu (a free, downloadable, Debian GNU/Linux based operating system with a Windows-like user interface).

The error stating failure Disk 0 means your hard drive has died. It sounds like your hard drive crashed and is not seen by your PC, you will need to have it replaced.

If it was a storm that blew out your network card, it is possible it also took the slot your network card was in along with it. Try installing your network card in a different slot. If this does not help, please let us know and post which operating system you use.
