This may well refer to your memory card - check the write-protect switch on the card.

Sounds as if an internal linkage has become misaligned. Not user serviceable, unless you are an expert - scamper down to your local friendly camera dealer or repair facility and see how much they would charge. May be cheaper to replace the camera, unfortunately.

Do you have your user guide or owner's manual? Read that thoroughly and you will have no problems. If you don't, get one from the manufacturer - search their website and download.

ummm.. just insert the darn thing and see if the camera will use it. It is smart enough to know what cards it can recognize. Also I've heard of Canon cameras and Olympus cameras but did not know they made one together.

The aperture control circuit of camera is not functioning like it is supposed to - in bright light it like your eye is supposed to get smaller to avoid overexposure. U need to take camera to Olympus. But if it is not a very expensive camera it might be cheaper to cut your loses and get another camera. The prices of parts and labor can just kill you.

Appears that the focus motor is not working. Part of the optical lens assembly which as has a focus, zoom, and exposure motor to control all. Replacing that assembly in the camera is nasty and expensive due to just the labor alone - and the part is not cheap! Think you are better off replacing the unit - not cost effective.

That Is One Of The Settings In Menu. Don't Know Why, I Have Never Had A Use For That Setting--Can Be Changed In Settings.

Check to see which resolution you have set as the lower the setting the blurrier the image becomes when blowing up the image It could also be that the focus is slightly off and needs to be rest if possible

I have the same problem. The card-cover has to be physically held down for the camera to work. I have even taken pictures and because I didn't hold the card-cover down hard enough the pictures disappeared.
I have noticed on my camera that tiny portion of the plastic card-cover is missing. It is the very tip of the card-cover and would normally be angled up to snap into place and hold the card-cover closed. Apparantly this tiny piece of plastic broke off and now the whole camera has to be carefully handled. Can anyone tell me where I can get another card-cover?
