No, not really but you have to be careful about electronic static. A eletrostatic strap or grounding must be observed before entering the laptop body.

there are maybe 1 or 2 screws holding the battery compartment secure.
Proper placement of the new ram is essential to the the installation .

1. Power off your notebook and close the display. Disconnect all cables,
including the AC power adapter, modem, and network cables.
2. Place your notebook upside down on a stable work surface.
3. Remove the memory compartment cover screw and cover.
Before performing any of the procedures in this section,
follow industry-standard practices for preventing
electrostatic discharge. See the Warning note.
To prevent damage to your notebook, remove the installed
battery pack before replacing this component.
this is the instruction from the user manual:
To remove an existing memory module, gently press outward on the
retaining clips on both sides of the memory module 1 until the memory

angle and insert it into the empty memory slot 1.
Gently press down on the module until the retaining clips click into place 2.

See every machine to some extent heats. In your case, the machine is over-heating, Right ? If yes then either the system is set on Max Battery Option in your Power Options. The second reason is its fans are not working as it should. It either be running slow or not running. It slow running then you have to clean the rotating end. Regards, Nandini.

Removal of eMachine M6410 optical drive

There are two small screws that the monitor cable would screw into, these have to be removed (7mm i believe) to be able to remove the base. The optical drive will typically pull out of the side after a screw has been removed and latch has been opened. I wouldn't go as far as removing the entire base.

I have an eView 17f3 computer monitor that was

well that is 17,000 volts there 17kv and can be lethal . CRT is cathode ray tube and 2nd anode is 17kv, 1kv per inch screen.. we use a chicken stick to discharge that. one guy gut hit here and flew across the room ,hit head and next up paramedics deep.. not fun to see that. ive taking 600v but never again. vaccum seal, why do that.??? send it to the , toxic lead recycle center, let them do the danger work when I was only 16yo I worked in TV shop and I had do that "nnipp" that in the bud on all CRT sent off to refurb. (or toxic trash) (we sold them all here, you name it) we had to remove the socket there find he glass bud there dead center and full PPE, and snap it with wire cutters and it sucks in air fast. later in military too on old radar scopes, i worked . the vacuum inside is pure and prefect, zero gasses. implosion hazard exists. a glass flies in the bounces out and hits you and then next up blind i one eye. leave CRT alone to the trained.
