How to clean a dust spot from the lens of an Olympus c-740 ultra zoom digital camera

If the dust spot is on the outside of the lens, then a soft brush will do the job.
But if it is on the inside, then the only way to get rid of it is to take it to a repair shop where they will dismantle the lens and clean it.
You may not need to clean it, if the dust spot does not appear on your photos.

I would:
use manual mode and external light meter (if accessible)
use tripod
use iso 200
step down f-stop from wide open (but not more than f5.6)
use 25mm lens (best quality lens you have)
use remote trigger or self-timer
use x-rite colorchecker passport (and calibrate software, like Adobe Lightroom)

Check antivirus your CF card. Check in what format are saved images: JPEG or RAW?

Olympus vn6200pc won't power on. I can plug into pc and play files and screen comes on but if not plugged into computer it wont come on. Tried disassembling but no obvious cause seen...

Olympus VR310.I have a new computer but i've lost the CD ROM that came with the camera .My old computer would charge my camera but the new one won't (using the USB cable)

You can download the driver software from the Olympus web site.
