Speakers

Packard Bell (160248-01) Computer Speakers with a 12 volt power source worked OK,

Tried a 9 volt and it also worked.

This pair of speakers is grey with a barrel design. The mounting surface placed flat is approximately 10.25 inches by 3.75 inches. Each end has a rainbow design with a depth of 2.75 inches. By placing with the mounting surface flat on your desk gives you an out of the floor design. The front edge from the desk to the bottom edge is 1.5 from the surface to the top edge with a 3.75 inch. Suggesting you may mount them under your desk, on the side by your legs or stand them on each side of your screen.

I am told they come in white and black also I found them rather large for what I need but your decision is you should be happy before buying a pair.

Need help getting sound from my inbuilt speakers!

Make sure you have the right power source.  Amps make a difference,  If it requires 1 amp and you are only putting in 200 mA, then you might not have enough "juice".  You can test the speakers using an MP3 player or something of similar sort through the earphone jack.  If the speakers work, check you sound card functions.

How do i connect speakers to PC ?

If you have WS media player its automatic once you connect the speaker jack into the audio hole...dont forget to check if your speakers require power, plug them and increase the volume to an audible level. If after all above has been done and no sound go to: Control Panel+ sound+ sound and click the drop down so you are able to change the option to windows default...click ok and apply. Then close and re open windows o play sound.

Recording from baby monitor

I am assuming the model you are using is similar or the same as the model I used once. That being the case, you need an external recording device and you simply use the headphone jack to connect the two. You should be able to use your computer and some simple recording software.
