Lost pics

Hi!

There are a lot of recovery software that you can use to recover deleted files - specially pictures. You can try to use Zero Assumption Recovery. You can download the software at this site:
http://www.z-a-recovery.com/download.htm

It's a free software (you do not neet to pay to use this), and it's easy to use.

Here are the steps that you need to do:
1.) After you install this software, connect your camera or memory card to your PC . Open the Zero Assumption Recovery software.

2.) Click Next. Select "Recover images from the digital camera.." and click Next again.

3.) Select the Physical Device - select your camera or memory card , click Next. [grab a cup of coffee since retrieving the files may take some time depending on the size of the memory (",) ]

4.) After retrieving the files - select all the files that can be recovered. Click Next.

5.) Select the button on the right side (close to Destination) and select where you want to save the files. Click "Start recovering files".

That's it.

I hope that helps.

Good luck and have a nice day!

Lost software for polaroid pdc 4055amera

You don't need any software for that. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

THE PICTURES ARE BEING SAVE TO INTERNAL MEMORY NOT

Okay the card is not locked I'm adding a diagram anyway. The next thing is did your format the memory card in the camera in which it is to be used? If you have just installed a new memory card it needs to be formatted. Or have you downloaded pictures from the memory card to the computer? Did you format the memory card in the computer? Did you unplug the camera or card reader without doing a safe disconnect? These are all reasons why you need to format the memory card.

Diagram just cause I have it on speed dial

Camera say memory is full but wont let me format.

Sounds like the internal memory has failed.

I would check with Polaroid about repairing it. An alternative would be to try installing a memory card. If it works with a memory card, then the internal chip is definitely the problem.

See if a friend has a camera that uses a similar memory card and just borrow it for a few minutes to test.

LOST SOFTWARE

Most cameras dont require software to work, just use windows XP and most cameras will be autodetected and will download pics to your PC. software is usually a bundled media manager and cheap gizmos, none that are necessary unless it is a streaming video driver for a webcam setup.

Putting Internal Pic's on the SD card

Well one option would be to download the images from the cameras internal card to your computer and then transfer them to the card. I have a card reader so it would be easy to do, or if your computer has a slot for the card that would work too. Or, just hook your camera up to the computer and use the image downloading wizard that pops up in XP. Or, if it doesn't show/pop up, just hook up camera to 'puter via cord & then click on my computer and you'll see the camera listed. Move image files & then you may need a card reader to transfer images to xd. Not sure why you would want to keep them on the XD card except to transport them around to another 'puter.
