audio will always come out no matter what source is selected on the tv. make sure you select the right video source input on the tv to get video. ie component 1, 2, 3 or dvi, rgb, hdmi etc.

check the regulator maybe its busted

It sounds like you may have a stuck micro button (volume button on tv) . You might try to push the up volume button on the tv several time and try to get it unstuck (if in fact that is the problem). Also sometime I have had situtions where the board holding these switches on the inside of the t was broke and had to be soldered and repaired.If I can be of any more help, please email me at [email protected]. It is a simple trouble, tv has got dry solder joints in the vertical deflection circuit. Resolder vertical output ic pins and related components, this will be okay.
