Hi there, A little late in answering and you may have figured it out, you should have an option to select antenna or cable box. Select cable box and and make sure you have your source (laptop, Roku etc) plugged in. This should lllow you to use the TV as a monitor. It is what I do with my 65" Sharp Aquos.
