Hi! I need

The KSC10ML has NO volume control... only two 1/4 inch jacks. To get a matching "jack cup" you will probably have to go to Kustom. I have searched for the item on the web and only jack cups that seem to come up are for Marshall or ones that use binding posts. I found one blank one but it is 5 by 7 inches... too big for that Kustom cabinet. In a pinch if you don't need it to be recessed, cut metal or ABS plastic plates and drill for two jacks.

My Kustom quad 100 Dfx cuts out when I pluck a string, and then it comes back on. It does this constant on and off loop every two seconds, what's the cause?

There could be several potential causes for the issue you described with your Kustom Quad 100 Dfx amplifier. Here are a few possibilities to consider:
  1. Power issue: Check the power source and connections. Ensure that the amplifier is receiving stable power without any fluctuations or interruptions. Faulty power cables, loose connections, or inadequate power supply could cause the intermittent cutting out and restarting.
  2. Speaker or speaker wiring: Examine the speaker(s) and the wiring connecting them to the amplifier. Loose or damaged speaker cables, faulty speaker connections, or even damaged speakers themselves could lead to the intermittent behavior you're experiencing.
  3. Overheating or thermal protection: Amplifiers often have built-in protection mechanisms to prevent overheating. If the amplifier is overheating, it may shut down intermittently to cool off before powering back on. Ensure that the amplifier has proper ventilation and isn't placed in an environment where it's prone to overheating.
  4. Internal component issues: There might be a problem with internal components such as transistors, capacitors, or resistors. These components can sometimes degrade or fail over time, causing intermittent issues like the one you described. In this case, it may require professional inspection and repair.
  5. Other external interference: Consider any other factors that could be causing interference with the amplifier. Nearby electrical devices, radio frequency interference, or even faulty instrument cables could potentially disrupt the amplifier's performance.
It's worth noting that troubleshooting electronic devices can be complex, and it's often best to consult with a qualified technician or reach out to the manufacturer's support for assistance. They will have the expertise and knowledge to diagnose and resolve the issue specific to your amplifier model.

I have a Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Models PA 40 BATBT That gets no sound? How can I diagnose this problem?

The symptoms you described suggest that there may be several possible issues with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Here are some steps to diagnose the problem:
  1. Check the battery: Ensure that the battery is fully charged or replace it with a new one if needed. If the battery is old or worn out, it may not provide enough power to the speaker, causing the crackling sound.
  2. Check the connections: Make sure that all cables and connections are properly plugged in and secured. Loose connections can cause crackling sounds or no sound at all.
  3. Check the volume: Turn up the volume on both the speaker and the device connected to it (such as a phone or tablet) to see if that resolves the issue. If the volume is too low, it may result in no sound or faint sound.
  4. Test the mic and instrument input: Try connecting a different microphone or instrument to the speaker to see if the problem is with the original mic or instrument. If the new mic or instrument works, then the issue is likely with the original device.
  5. Check the speaker components: If none of the above steps work, there may be an issue with the speaker's components. It's best to bring the speaker to a professional technician or authorized service center for repair.
Hopefully, one of these steps will help you diagnose and resolve the issue with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker.

Hello. Where is the fuse located to be replaced in my Kustom KPM4060 Amp. Thanks Shawn.

I have the same problem with my KPM 4080 amp. I have no clue where the fuse goes. I'm sure mine also needs a fuse replaced.

Guitar amp? whining noise regardless of connections or volume settings?

Several possibilities (i have experienced all):
  1. 120V.AC line noise. Try moving to a new receptacle in a different room or breaker. Try a In line AC filter (like a Furman power filter/conditioner)
  2. RF interference. Plug in a different core and guitar to isolate.
  3. Guitar wiring. Bad ground internally or pot (volume) became ungrounded.
  4. Defective amp preamp section. Pot or transistor.

I was just given a Kustom Sienna 65 Amp and it powers up but no sound coming out of speaker. I plugged a line from the ext speaker 1/4" out into a practice amp and got sound through the practice amp.

You may have a blown voice coil in the speaker. Can you see the back of the speaker? Then, First Check the connections to the speaker and make sure they are well connected. If they are, then the speaker is probably at fault. If you are handy, then you can get a replacement speaker, 12 inch?, and swap it out.

I have a Kustom KPM8420 PA mixer and the monitor channel comes through both the monitor and main speakers and vice versa. The two channels are not separate. How do I fix that?

On the back panel there is a section labelled Patch Bay There are 2 small switches which assign each Power Amp to either Monitor or Main Output. It would seem you have them both set the same at present. Set one to Monitor and one to Main, and use the corresponding Power Amp outputs direct to speakers. Note you can send signal to external amps or powered speakers from the preamp outputs. This is really handy. Download and print the manual from https://www.manualslib.com/manual/90516/Kustom-Kpm-8420t.html and keep it with the mixer. ( Of course don't send speaker outputs to other amps or powered speakers )
