If you can get Ghost 2009 or later, because it has backward compatibility you'll be able to access those .v21 (or .v2i) backups. Try holding the button for a shorter period.

Panel control>Add/remove programs. Then delete all the history of your browser and change the homepage of it too.

Go to panel control > add/remove programs and see if there's any program on the list with that name. If there's not, you have not installed any program with that name.
