Screen shuts itself off & power light blinks
Take the back of the unit off and dust the fans. You an keep it on the stand, take off the top & side row screws then peel back the rear cover to get access. Make sure the little mesh vent holes are clear and have no obstructions. I am so very angry about this device and the aggravation I have had with it. So far, I have spent $7000 on this unit and will not spend another dime on it. If it breaks again, I'm kicking it to the curb & buying a 46" Samsung Touch Of Color

Black screen after 5 minutes of use with Fujitsu PDS-420 plasma
Sorry to inform you my freind, but the main board has to be replaced in this beast. Could get expensive. there are no schematics and or componets listed to repair this module. Its a board level repair only. Try going to ptscorp.com, find their phone number, and see if they repair these boards. if not you will need to contact the manufacturer for replacement boards. good Luck

I need to reset my power board on my Fujitsu 50" plasmavision
Just being curious from what little information that you provided, why would you reset a power board? The power board has a fuse to replace when the supply goes out, however if it has gone out, then the board is in need of repair. Typically it is from the capacitors going bad on the board and need replacing. Qualified service tech only...

Model p50xha40 Fujitsu plasmavision. Tv won't turn on and no lights coming from power button. Tv was working fine and unplugged for two days.
The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
