THE FS1 6.3 AMP FUSE
This is an indication that you have a short on the power supply section.
It can't be fixed by replacing the fuse alone. I've suspected that you have a short on the following parts :
1.Power Cord - even very low of chances but still to be check. This is due to frequent bending and pulling.
2.Rectifier diode
3.Main filter electrolytic capacitor
4.Voltage regulator I.C.
This is the common parts that might be shorted and made the fuse blew. #2-4 is quite technical and need an expert to do the job so I

I want a manual for the remote control
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you may be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, list
of Dealers for spare part supplies and
Driver
downloads
(if applicable)
as required.
The information is normally free of
charge.
I hope this helps.

it is going in shutdown mode due to a defective electronic component, it could also be the power supply check for swollen capacitors (inside the TV) they are small alluminium cans with a plastic shrink with numbers and make printed on them, the tops should be FLAT not rounded (about to burst)

You may have blown a ribbon cable out of the connector with the air. The speakers could also have been disconnected this way. If the remote doesn't work then it may be a the subboard for the sensor. If both remote and buttons don't work then it would be a larger section.
Unless you used a few hundred psi you would have to work hard to actually hurt something. Unfortunetly you can do just enough with low pressure to be rather annoying. Basically if this is the cables and not just a couple of things happening at the same time to fix them you need to crack the tv case and reinsert the cables into the connectors. Not hard to do but takes a bit of work to get at all of them.

Do you have your television connected to a cable or satellite?
If so, please ensure the device is powered on and plugged in. If you have pets, sometimes they can knock them loose.. Also make sure you are on the correct input to view the services.
Same goes for a dvd player, surround sound, etc. Its just the input that would change.

I HAVE A 42'GATEWAY PLASMA
Hi,
This is an internal fault as you must have observed. There could be many causes for the same. It could be a problem with power supply board. Other than this, it could be Y and Z sustain boards. However, it needs a proper inspection and testing of these components. If you have electronics repair experience, know how to use multimeter and soldering iron, could read schematics - i would be glad to provide you with a link to purchase service manual ( if available ) and could guide you to fix the problem.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Most likely your speaking of dead pixels. No real solution other than if it is still under warranty they could replace the panel.
Sorry pal.

Over loaded lines means not physical overload but rather overload of voltage. Usually happens when a component such as a voltage regulator IC fails.Did you test the board with a multimeter? If not take the back cover of , turn on the set and notify me at what location(marking on the board and IC numbers of any ICs near by) you hear the click as it means that the relay at that point is clicking off there by forcing the tv into standby. Make sure that you don't touch anything when the set is on.

I have gateway plasma tv srs bbc 50 " get verry
Yes,it's normal, a plasma uses a lot of power (over 300W) so it generates a lot of heat - especially the screen.Remember, plasma is an overheated gas so a large screen contains a very large amount of a very hot gas.

We switched from Direct TV
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. A plasma TV is a very hard working device. It is
working harder than any TV that has been built before, and as a result it
produces a lot of heat. 75% of technical problems in plasma TV's are caused by
overheating problems. You’ll need to check the power supply board first for any
swollen/bulged capacitors. As power supply board is the hardest working board
in a plasma TV, it develops voltage to supply all components, high current +
high voltage. All this is only recommended if you have electrical expertise
& know how to solder/re-solder components as these units contain high
voltages even when switched off. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post
a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
