when the router looses connection, it is best to just leave it as it tries to reconnect automatically the blinking lights is the communication process and when connection is made for each section the light stays full on there should be a on/off button that you just press to restart the searching process or a reset button under a small hole that you use a paper clip to gently press to reset remember that it is not always the router that looses the connection but the server that it is connecting to

Normally means communicating with the router via a cable attached to a port on the router normally labelled "console". This is the most basic form of communicating with the router for start up config. Usually a serial connection to a PC or laptop using something like Hyperterminal or PuTTY.

Log in to the router. Open a browser and type in your Ip address to the router and the login password. (They should be on the label on bottom of router. )(NOT THE WIFI PASSWORD) once inside you can change the WiFi password.

You may need to call your service provider to reset it. Try unplugging it completely then waiting for a minute or so then plug it back in and see what happens. If no better then call your provider because they may need to reset your account. Hope this helps

i dont get your problem, but if you want to access the desktop of the other device, you need to enable remote desktop.however,if you want to access the drive of the other device,you need to configure a mapped network drive.

This can be due to two issues hardware or firmware.
1) Hardware :- try to access the router console if you are unable to access console than you have to take it to the company for repair.
2) Firmware :- try to access the router console and if you are able to access console try to upgrade the firmware of your router you can download compatible firmware from internet. Usually such issue with wireless router is because of firmware corrupt.

To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access the router page just open a browser then type 192.168.1.1, the Default username is admin and the password is admin.
