When using the RCA jack for Audio In on the Stage
You have a ground loop. First, ALL interconnected equipment MUST be powered from the same receptacle or power conditioner. You need to put an isolator in that audio line. This consists of a audio transformer with isolation between primary and secondary windings. The function is like a DI box... but they usually don't make those for RCA jacks. One could cobble up using a DI and a pocketful of cable adapters, but it would be less expensive to get a small audio transformer from Radio Shack and make one with a female and a male RCA jack and plug. FIRST thing though is to get everything powered from the same source. Using multiple plugs at different points within a building is ASKING for these problems and also to damage your equipment. Yes, we have to run extension cords to bring power to the mixer from where the amps are at times... You MIGHT find for your problem you can use one of the impedance matching plugs that have a transformer in them. You would need a few adapters to get the connectors.

From page 10 of your user manual:
A scene is a static lighting state. Scenes are stored in the temporary memory, until they are transferred to one of the playback faders. You may create a single scene or a succession of up to 999 steps per Scene.
Make sure you transfer the scene to a playback fader, otherwise the scene is only stored in temporary memory and will be lost when power is turned off.

The most likely case is that one of the main output transistors (if which there are many) is shorted. When the protect circuit senses DC on the final output, it will not allow the output relay to come on to protect the speakers from raw DC. With the power removed, you can check between each outputs Emitter and Collector and you will probably find close to zero ohms. From that point you need to unsolder each of the pins of the bad channel until you find the shorted device(s) and replace them.

No or very little sound from Fender passport
Depending on the model, there are four around that date, it could be the insert jacks are tarnished reducing the signal flow between the pre amp stage and digital power amplifier. It could be the power amplifier has failed. It could even be customer error in wiring.
This assumes there is the correct level of signal entering the input sockets of course.
