Have you tryed to go in to your TV menu and look for cable setup. Then change it to cable Not off air... Hope this was helpful.

If you have the code book just hold the device you want to set uplike tv, vcdr, etc. and the power button at the same time. The power botton will stay lit. Put in your 5 digit code...hold it till the tv,vcr turnsoff. Turn it back on and try the rest of the functions. If it dose not workon certain function just hold down that key till that function works. Hope this helps.

Hola, posiblemente el circuito integrado donde se realiza la seleccion de audio sea el problema y no el amplificador de audio ya que funciona con el DVD, habria que determinar cual IC realiza esta funcion tomando como referencia la salida demodulada de audio desde la etapa de frecuencia intermedia o adonde convergen todas las entradas de audio del TV.

When you try to program what??? usually you connect the XBOX OUTPUT to the same INPUT on the TV (RF ch 4 or 3), (RCA) yellow, white, red connectors or the RGB connectors, and for some newer 360 boxes you have the HDMI connector, it has nothing to do with the COMCAST CABLE unit... it is just a matter of having the correct cable/connections and the correct input set on the TV...

hi there, it seems your TV is not that complicated to remedy. Try to check the power cord for any cut or open wire. also check the internal fuse if still works. if it has a burn appearance try to replace it with same type and amperage. if still not works focus on the power supply section if some capacitor are bulgy or deformed. worst is that you have a defective power MOSFET. this must be service by a technician. hope this help good day. please rate and vote.

Testing remote control: The remote control puts out IR (InfraRed) signal that human eyes cannot see, to find out if the remote is sending out the signal or not you just point the remote at the digital camera's Lens (Digital Camera can detect IR), you should see flashing light on the camera's screen when any one of the remote button is pushed. are you using bootleg dvds?some players will not play them.if this is not the case maybe something is wrong with your dvd

If the problem is restricted to two channels only, and the rest of the stations are working, then it can be a faulty tuner device. If you are using an external tuner box, test using a replacement tuner.
If you are using the built in tuner (aerial connected straight to coax socket at the back of TV), then the problem may be the internal tuner.

Before contacting repair or purchasing part, ensure that the problem is not low signal (bad reception). Video and audio digital signals are carried on different channels.

Test the TV performing a channel tuning and resetting to factory settings.

In some case the problem may also be caused by connection used. If for example the sound is carried from a receiver to the TV through RCA cables (red and white), you may have no sound from some digital channel. If the TV uses an external receiver box, test using different kinds of connection.

Clean the dirty optical drive with one of those commerical DVD cleaning kits they sell at the box stores. Also, could be the DVD is region specific. Region 1 is USA meaning the DVDs will only play on Region 1 DVD players. You can buy region free DVD players on e-bay for cheap.

Theres a reason they call these DVD players Broksonic. Because they are always Brok. Spend a few dollars and get a name brand next time, because they last longer since those companies invest more in R&D and quality control.
