Video does not work I
When you try to program what??? usually you connect the XBOX OUTPUT to the same INPUT on the TV (RF ch 4 or 3), (RCA) yellow, white, red connectors or the RGB connectors, and for some newer 360 boxes you have the HDMI connector, it has nothing to do with the COMCAST CABLE unit... it is just a matter of having the correct cable/connections and the correct input set on the TV...
Good luck!

Hola.

I have a 19 inch
Hi.
If the problem is restricted to two channels only, and the rest of the stations are working, then it can be a faulty tuner device. If you are using an external tuner box, test using a replacement tuner.
If you are using the built in tuner (aerial connected straight to coax socket at the back of TV), then the problem may be the internal tuner.
Before contacting repair or purchasing part, ensure that the problem is not low signal (bad reception). Video and audio digital signals are carried on different channels.
Test the TV performing a channel tuning and resetting to factory settings.
In some case the problem may also be caused by connection used. If for example the sound is carried from a receiver to the TV through RCA cables (red and white), you may have no sound from some digital channel. If the TV uses an external receiver box, test using different kinds of connection.

There are sets of lines going across the top of the screen.
probably its finely out of tune, i would get onto settings then manually tune it myself. or if this fails.. call your service provider. its nothing that you have done wrong. its them. also. at the back of your television. make sure ALL essential leads are fully plugged in..

Need service menu for Broksonic TV
Hi,
First try adjusting the tint value under the picture settings menu. If this does not have the desired effect try this to enter the service menu - (sequence is model dependant) using the remote control enter the sequence MUTE, TIMER, PICTURE.
Service menu should now appear on screen - use UP & Down buttons to select the relevant item for adjustment.
If these solutions fail to work you can request this information directly from Broksonic under their Support and Troubleshooting Tab at this link

Hope this helps. Please do rate my answer. Many Thanks.

The tv makes a strange hissing sound at random
sounds like there is a storm inside the set..!!!
the EHT connector is tracking to ground or the loptx is leaking and sometimes there is a smell when this happens.
i would not advise you to tackle this fault unless experienced at repairing tv's
as if you dont discharge the tube safely it may discharge through you !!!
but if you feel confident on doing this then take back off tv and in a dark room you maybe able to see the arc where its tracking.then its a case of replacing EHT cap , lead or even worse the loptx
but before you remove the EHT cap make sure that you discharge the tube to ground BEFORE removing it as crt tubes can remain charged for some time even days after the set has been switched off. 25kv jumping through your fingers is not nice.
best of luck.

Black box on screen covering the picture
This is a box for text, such as closed captioning or demonstration mode. Go into your setup menu and turn off closed captioning or return to factory settings.

The source does not oscillate
I think language is a problem here.
Get a flashlight and shine it at the screen. Do you see a picture? If you do, the back light has failed.
ALL question need FULL 'make model (what it is)' please.
