Lines when running vhs tape
Could be one of several things.incorrect storage of tapes...I.e. Kept near speaker magnets...in damp storage or the VCR heads themselves need cleaning.old VCR tapes are prone to losing their magnetic properties which make recording and playing back suffer from line interferences.if the tapes are new it points to the reading heads on the VCR.this may benefit from using a head cleaner.if you can't get hold of a head cleaner...contact me and I will share a DIY method I have used in the past.on no account must you try to open the unit without taking certain precautions.

I have a Sanyo remote,RMT-U110,I entered the codes
Most universal remotes that I have dealt with will not be able to fully control a combo unit(DVD/VCR) the basic functions of a VCR and DVD player are the same so the remote cannot isolate/diffrentiate the commands from one another. Good luck !

Can't change output on DVD from channel 3 to 4
Unfortunately, Broksonic's website doesn't offer manual downloads. But product information for the 810C and 810D both say the output is channel 3/4 switchable. So if there isn't a rear panel switch (or one hiding somewhere else on the unit), it must be through a setup menu via the remote control. If you have the remote it shouldn't be too much trouble to experiment with the options until you find the right menu. If you didn't get the remote along with the unit, you are probably going to have to live with whatever channel it's on already.
