RCA 32'' TV

Unfortunately, the Power Supply has spat the dummy out. It is giving enough power to light the LED but not enough to run the set. To replace it will probably cost more than buying a new set. But ask around your local repairers for a price before you make any decisions...

RCA TV Model F32444 Will not power on

The noise you are hearing is probably the degauss (it demagnetises the screen every startup). The most likely problem is the power supply. Do a replacement of all the caps on the powersupply board and it will likely fix your problem. Because it still has power to the degauss coils it hasn't blown the fuse. Power supply not starting like that is usually caused by a small electrolytic capacitor near the heatsink on the mains side of the powersupply. They can be replaced for about 10 cents.
Hope this helps

RCA 32444

While it could be that the power supply has failed, it's more likely a problem within the Horizontal sweep circuit. Might be the Horizontal output transformer, or, the transistor, or both.. An exception would be a shorted diode in a derived supply from the horizontal sweep, or a short on the load circuit of the supply. All of the parts are soldered in. There is no "power supply" that can be removed and replaced as a unit. If you have no electronics experience, stay out of the TV. You have no business inside of a box that when working develops something to the tune of 30,000 volts. Not just a little dangerous, it can kill. If you have the experience, fine, if not, consult an electronics servicer.

RCA TV dead

If this is a crt type tv. This could be attributed to a faulty high voltage circuit. A defective horizontal output transistor or the flyback. Or better to check some minor component with regards to flyback like diodes.

No picture but sound

it sounds to me that your tv has a bad vertical deflection system or it has just worn out. you can take it to a place to be serviced cause Any set is repairable. The question is at what cost.

As a general rule, most experts agree that a set over 4 years of age is better replaced than repaired (unless it is a trivial problem). Consumer Reports stated in October 2001 issue The reason is simple: Cost of repairs is getting more all the time. Prices of new sets is going down dramatically. The features and performance have improved dramatically the last few years. The chances of something going bad, again, after a repair is very high; which means you may be pouring good money after bad.

The problem with your set could be a bad vertical deflection system, blown ic or pcb board to deflection system.

My recommendation is this: Before doing anything, just bang on the set a few times with your hand to see if there is something loose inside that will, with some agitation, bring back the picture. YOu never know, it may come back to life. If nothing simple seems to improve it, then i would disposed of it and replace. As i have had this happen before and it costs more money to hear that its broke then its worth.

thank you,
Nathan

Tv wont turn on

A high pitched chirp is a sign that you have a short on the load of your power supply. I just finished repairing one of these sets and it had a shorted horizontal output transistor and a bad flyback transformer.

CHANGING CHANNELS ALL THE TIME

I have seen some RCA TV's with this problem and it has usually been a switch going bad on the keypad of the tv. This can be confirmed by disconnecting the plug from the control panel to the main chassis. If you are lucky, and the ir rcvr for the remote is not on the control board, you can still control tv with the remote.Good luck.

No picture, sound ok.

When you change the flyback and the HOT you are supose to replace a small capacitor that came with the flyback and also the small coil l401 that connects the hot base to the horiz. driver transformer secondary is supose to be taken out, the leads scrapped off of insulation and resoldered into place.

I have a RCA TV model # LED 22B45RQD and I can't find the code for it

One possible solution to find the remote control code for your RCA TV model LED 22B45RQD is to look up the user manual for your specific TV model. The manual should contain information about the compatible remote controls and their programming codes. If you don't have access to the physical manual, you can often find electronic versions of manuals online through websites such as Manualslib.com or the manufacturer's website. Once you locate the manual for your TV model, refer to the section on remote control programming and look for the programming codes listed under the RCA brand. Alternatively, some universal remotes allow you to automatically scan and detect the correct code for your device. To do this, follow the instructions for your specific universal remote control and select the option to program the remote using auto scan mode. Point the remote at the TV and press the appropriate buttons (usually power and input select) until the TV turns off and back on again. This process may take several attempts before finding the correct code. It's also worth noting that the color of the OK/SELECT button on the remote control could affect which code works with your TV. As mentioned in the search result excerpt, if the OK/SELECT button is red, then you might try the codes previously suggested by another user. However, if those codes don't work, it's best to continue searching for the correct code based on your specific TV model number.

Black and white screen only on DSTV?

RCA video cables handle analog signals. HDMI cables carry digital video signals. You need a converter. If you are using a component video converter, check if you swapped two of the three RCA video cables. (There are some A/V projectors that can do the translation of RCA and HDMI internally. Most TVs do not.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (One of my family's TVs used a dongle to condense the analog video signal to a single port, swapping blue and green gave a black and white output, IIRC.)

I have an RCA re20qp80 remote that the mute button doesn't work

Most modern tv remotes are not normally designed to be repaired. You will possibly need to replace it. there are plenty of cheaper after market version that will do the job just as well. Your other option, and yes I know this is a silly answer, when you want to mute the TV is to simply press the volume down button to zero then turn it back up when you want sound.

I Want code list for RCA 4- device universal remote

You need the TV codes not the remote ones. I would use the Remotes code search feature as the Sanyo has allot of codes and you may spend hours going through them.
