Hi the PUK code is the security code for the sim card and not any code to do with the phone, all you need to do to get the PUK code is call your service provider.
your service provider wont charge for giving you the code as the code belongs to you, all you need to tell them is your phone number or if you dont know that then the number printed on the sim card, they will then provide you with the 10digit PUK code for free over the phone.
this will then allow you to access the sim card.

The only place you can get the PUK code from is your service provider as their is no where else that keeps these codes, if you still have the card the sim card was attatched to then it will be written on their but if you no longer have this then the only way your going to get the code is by calling your service provider, they wont charge you for this as the code belongs to you,

you do have another option open to you though, if you dont need that sim card then you can go out and get another sim card and when you get given a new sim card you will get given the unique PUK code it will be written on the card the sim card is attatched to.

this code belongs to you so dont pay anyone to give you the code ok, so the best option would be to call your service provider over the phone and ask them for the PUK code, they will ask you for the phone number if you know it or if not they will ask you for the number written on the sim card, once they have this they will then be able to give you the code, this code will only work with the sim thats asking for the code, if you enter the wrong code more than a few times it blocks the sim card and it can no longer be used,

Please follow the instructions below:
On your SPV C500, press Start and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Bluetooth. Select Bluetooth again. Select On
Ensure the BT250v is turned off
Press and hold the Answer button until a solid blue light comes on
Select the BT250v from the list of found devices on your SPV C500 phone.
If this won't work please try a different phone ...and see if you get the same result.

You can not find your puk code on your phone but you can get on your starter pack or call your service provider.

The starter pack is the pack that contain the sim card.

1. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
2. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
3. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default.
4. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only.
5. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4.
The timing is sensitive.

You should contact your service provider and ask for the puk. They will ask you for some details that can be found either on the backside of your phone or the papers that came with the phone. Then they will provide you with the PUK.

The only wat to get your phone un-PUK'ed is to contact your provider this will always happen after 10 attempts on a PUK.

ahhh this happened to me last night you need to call your service provider and give them your account info and its a breeze they give you the password in a matter of minutes but don't keep trying and use up all 10 chances or it Fry's your sim card

If you mean the amber 'charging' light does not light when charging, note your PC must have a working Microsoft ActiveSync installed on an XP, Mobile Device Manager on a Vista PC, before the phone will charge from a PC USB port.

If it will also not come on when the AC charger is connected, then I would suspect a bad light or what ever supplies the light.

How do you know it is not chargeing if the phone comes on. Are you saying the phone will only come on when plugged in a PC or AC Charger? If so, I would suspect the battery. Unplug it and clean both the battery terminals on the battery those on the phone the battery mates with. You can use a clean pencil erasure.

Some App suppliers will have you an record and will email your Lic # if your email has not changed since purchase.

To Hard Reset, turn off your phone and then turn it back own while holding down both left and right soft keys till you get a screen asking if you want to Reset it. Another Hard Reset method, if you can get to Start Menu/Accessories folder when phone is powered, is choose Clear Storage and clear the storage. This may not work on some phone models, but note this method will also reset your phone to 'as purchased' state, with all stuff you added since removed.

Note a Soft Reset is the same thing as just turning phone off then back on as normal. It does nothing but re-power your phone, but a Hard Reset recovers your phone operating system from phones MFG ROM and resets it back to original as purchased state.
