Bush 5693D 24" TV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Only half screen
I have seen this problem before bad IC on vertical circuit or bad capacitors, I would start by checking the caps and then move on to checking the IC( integrated circuit)voltage in, voltage out with dvm.
No picture displaying but sound coming through ok
Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "

Some time ago, I was watching TV, then, all of sudden, the TV screen has gone, just like 'blank'. The main power (red light) keeps on blinking. Normally, it is just on, not blinking. TV doesn't respo
These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can vet an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs.
