Broken DVD Loader Door
generally they put pressure on the door panel to "open" the door, doesn't really matter where as long as they are out of the way of the disk and the hinge, if you do it correctly they will self seat and not be an issue. hope this helps just keep thinking about it and it will become obvious, while you look at the assembly.

Yes, I have this system and as long as you have a USB cord wth your player you jut plug it in to the front USB jack on the front.
IPOD does not work in USB
if you are having problems with two different usb devices on the same computer it sounds like you need to update the drivers for the usb ports. We need to know what kind of computer you have and what operating system you are running on it.
DVD not playing
There is a issue with your player lens. If you have under warrenty please go for service ok.
try running a laser eye cleaner-disc cleaner when dust gets on the optics sometimes it wont read the disc

if possible i would recommend returning this for a replacement.

Its been happening a lot to this type of systems from RCA I unplug mine and it starts working(sometimes) Im going to retun the darn thing.
Will not come on.
if you have p scan you need red green blue cables to the tv and both need to be set up to do p scan, it sounds like you have p scan but its not cabled correctly.
The dvd tray .
you can not you need to buy a whole new dvd player or get one that is non working from eBay and use that tray to replace yours
I have not, but it seems you're right on target. If you have alot of electronics, or not enough breathing room, you can "suffocate" the maching/processor with heat, so also keep this in mind....
Good luck, but it seems that this is more of a "glitch" in manufacturing of this unit than a solvable problem!
