The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the TV, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. If you are using component cables, 5 wires to connect your cable box or direct tv receiver or Dish network. Check the cables to be certain they are all pushed all the way in. It could be that your green Y connection is loose. If this does not resolve, please repost.

May be a Yscan or buffer issue, but may also be a bad panel. Plasmas are very difficult "snap diagnose". Either way, not an inexpensive proposition.

Most likely it can be fixed, most common cause of no pic on plasma's is a faulty Y sustain board. When you turn on the set, does the panel prime? by that I mean if you dim the lights in the room and turn on the set, does the panel light slightly?

There are two things that can cause this, one a faulty panel (can't fix) or adjusting VA and VS voltages in the power supply. If you are not experience, I would recommend you have it done by a professional.

This is a very easy fix. Your cable box is not grounded correctly. To fix this you need a AC Plug adapter. This will change your TV ac plug from a 3 wire to a 2 wire. This may sound funny, but trust me on this. I have fix a lot of TV in NY doing just this.

try something else for the Wii to see if the unit is ok, to be honest it sounds like it is not hooked up correctly but since not there I cannot tell from your description.
