The 010. 020 and 040 ICs are interchangeable with the 392-040 ICs being better. The site I posted has origional sanyo ICs you can get them cheaper but when it comes to convergence ICs you end up getting what you pay for if there under 20.00 each they arent sanyos. I dont know of any kits for samsung Hitachi selld kits but they wont have the one your model needs, The convergence resistors are special metal films so most places wont stock them

sounds like the Blue video amp is defective on the Blue CTR drive board TDA6111Q

Check the cable and connections between the TV and your cable line. Make sure the contacts are clean, no bent pins, etc. Try replacing the cable if possible.

the screws are identified by little arrows pointing to the screw holes. However I would be surprised if its the convergence board most times its the Convergence ICs located on the sub board

IF your tv is under warranty you can call the tech if not try hard reset that is remove the power code from the tv and wait for 30 min and plug it back if you have the sane problem: click on this link:

TRY UNPLUGGING THE T.V. FOR TEN MINUTES. THE TRY THE BUTTON ON THE FRONT OF THE SET. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET AN ORIGINAL REMOTE FOR AROUND $40 .

multicolored 3d effect is a problem with what is known as convegence... ussally there are two large chips (ic) that blow. gennerally they have to be replaced mabe some fuses and resistors..

you have some open resistors in the convergence circuits.

270 Ohm 1/2watt
27K Ohm 1/16 watt
3.3K Ohm 1/8watt
3.9 Ohm 2 watt
150 Ohm 2watt

Yes you need to replace both of the convergence amp ICs they are STK392-040 they need to be solderdbut its basic soldering nothing too advanced. You can get new ICs at the following link and they include free instalation instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself, and they also have free on line instant messageing when you do the repair in case you have any last minute questions. heres the link.

As long as you can solder you should be okay, however i would suggest getting your ICs at the following link because they provide free instalation instructions with pictures on how to remove and replace the Convergence ICs. heres the link.

The convergence anp ICs are usually what go bad in that unit. They are two ICs both are STK392-040 and they are at board location ICZ103 and IZC103 on the Sub Board attached to large heat sinks. It has to be your signal board thats what the white screen indicates because the other board is a deflection board and if that was bad you would have a black screen. Yes its worth fixing but the board would run about $300.00 to $350.00 if you cant find one let me know and I can post a link where I believe they would have one

Your model doesnt have a bulb. It has 3 CRTs instead. Sounds like something minor in the start up voltages. thereby allowing the start up relay to click then other times the relay doesnt click. So its either standby or start up supplies where the fault is. You can get a manual here at this link and also free support to help you figure it out.

These sets have a color wheel in them that has been know to cause this, Many times the customer heres the color wheel bearings failing and think it's a fan failing. The part BP96-00250a is only about $95.00 and since I have changed well over a hundred would call this a easy repair but for the newbie this might be a challenge
