Tv does not come on
your problem could be anything from a blown fuse to a faulty regulator transistor. I would check the fuses first followed by the regulator transistors. Let me know if you need any additional info.

IF THE CONVERGENCE IS NOT ADJUSTING COMPLETELY THEN IT PROBABLY NEEDS NEW CONVERGENCE IC's . ALSO CHECK OUT THE SHARPNESS OF EACH PICTURE TUB (CRT) THESE SET ARE NOTORIOUS FOR HAVING BAD CRT''s (WHICH ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE).

Tv video not coming
Check the following :
1. when you switch on the TV will you get any burnt smell near TV,will it try to on or will it make any hissing sound .
if there is any hissing sound there may be some short circuit happening inside ..
if it doesnt tries to on then the powr supply might not be coming to the screen or the CRT might have got damaged ..,, if this is the case then CRT must be replaced ...
if the power is not coming to the screen then there may be some problem in the transformer or due to some short circuiting some of the component might have burnt you need to identify that and replace that ... this solves your problem ..

sorry i havent got to shop ill see what i can do... im so sorry.have you tried the service mode? do you hVE ORIGINAL remote navigating in service convergence mode is the major thing. i want to say it the pmode button or the s mode. i want to see if blue will move

im trying to find some detail intructions.. i have them at the shop.. there doing me know good there.....lol let me see if i can dig these up for you ... do you have original remote? bear with me. describe what you replaced. did you replace the thinf with the two big ics?

I would recomend getting the service manual for that set as that will have the info that you would need to troubleshoot so you have an idea on whats happening. You can get a service manual at the following link and they will assist you for free to help you diagnose whats going on.

Convergence problems
In these projection sets, usually the convergence board has failures. These can be some of the IC's and or a number of the capacitors in most cases.
You will have to call the authorized service rep, or a service center that is familiar with your set and has availability of parts for it.
Considering the age of your set, the risk of investing in to an oder set, it may be a better option to consider a new one at this point.
