How to replace samsung hln4365w lamp

It is fairly simple to do. Just remember to turn OFF the tv, and DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP ITSELF. Here is an online manual that has the instructions on page 10 of the manual. Just copy and paste this into your browser navigation bar.

Replaced bulb still dosen't work

Actually the issue could be either with your color wheel or with yoru ballast, if you hear buzzing, whirling, whinning sound, it's most probable that the color wheel is defective, but if you hear a constant clicking sound the issue might be with the ballast, discountdashmerchantdotcom, free troubleshoot. You might ask yourself why could the other two parts affect the image, he thing is that since they're part of the light engine system as well as the lmap and dmd board, when one of the doesn't work, you won't get an image, since you could say they work together

Samsung sp47w3hf1x - no picture no sound

You have listed two different model numbers.
Please look on the right side of the set and you will see a sticker listing the Model# Serial# and the Version#. I need the Model# and the Version#. If your set has no side sticker then look on the back of the set and read the Model# from there. Then report this info back to me.

Tv used to make a whining sound when we turned it

Well that humming sound is indeed the color wheel, you say you already replaced it.
The thing is that there are two types of color wheels one with a silver bearing and another one with a gold one, for example if your Tv uses a gold bearing colorwheel and you buy a silver one, it's not going to work, if you still have the orginal colorwheel which i think you did since you replaced it last night, just make sure what color the bearing is. Because the color wheel is the one causing the issues on your TV.

I have a samsung hln4365w 43 in dlp, I replaced the bulb and it

Open the tv in the back. I had the same problem and was finally able to resolve it. If you remove the cover in the back of where it says lamp you will see a lil lever near one of the metal brackets. Make sure that small lever is pushed all the way in, it should already have a small strip of masking tape on it. Push it all the way in and then try it.

This helped with mine and I had a simular problem. Good Luck

Mottled background color on Samsunf DLP

Its possible that the speed of the color wheel motor is starting to drift from the normal range. Its also possible that the DMD board or digital P.C.B. are the culprit.

Contact an authorized Samsung service center, ask them to try to reset the wheel speed using the index delay parameter in the service menu.

They should be able to eliminate the problem or at least identify it as a bad color wheel or otherwise.

Hdtv but has no inlet for the cord.

Hi..
That set has 2 DVI connectors in the back. Either one will work if you have a cable that matches.
The manual is available online too

That could either be the cooling fan bad or the light engine assembly as they both can exhibit the sympton your describing. Can you haer this sound as soon as the power is pushed or does it take a moment. If its instantly chances are its the fan.

Continued question on Skewed picture and loss of control functions.

Not all the time but yes I have seen it happen about 60% of the time with the DMD board going bad. But it is possible that the DMD board is not the only problem your TV is having. The digital board (another board in your tv) can cause both these problems at the same time too. It is something that needs to be troubleshooted. But this info will narrow it down for you.

HLN4365W Picture goes askew and turns to black and white.

Hi...what you are seeing is the DMD board (digital Mirror display board) going bad. And if you leave it turned on like that it will damage the DMD mirror and freeze that picture into the mirror. It will look as if someone etched it into the mirror. DMD boards can be repaired and some cannot be repaired. The DMD board can be replaced. The DMD mirror can also be replaced too.

TV turns on, but it turns right back off

Your lamp has went bad and you need to replace it. If you look on the left side of your tv there is a sticker that has a lamp part number on it. You can order that from part store.com and you will be back up and running.
