Samsung TV DF400BGLV1H is dead. Looks like a short on LED backlight?
Based on the symptoms you described, it sounds like the problem is likely with the LED backlight strips on your Samsung TV model DF400BGLV1H. When you disconnect the LED connector, the standby voltage comes back, and the T-CON board blue LED lights go on and the boot sound. Also, the fact that the power supply board measures 225 volts on pin 1 and 2 of the D+ on the connector when disconnected and toggles off when connected to the LED, suggest a short on the LED side.
It is possible that one or more of the LED backlight strips may have failed, causing a short and preventing the TV from powering on properly. In this case, replacing the LED backlight strips would be the most likely solution to the problem.
Keep in mind that it is always a good idea to double-check all connections and components for proper function and continuity, before replacing any parts.
It's recommended to seek the help of a professional technician or contact Samsung customer service for further assistance, especially if you are not familiar with TVs. Also, make sure you get the right replacement parts and follow the instructions.

How can I tell if a power board is bad on a Samsung un75ju641dfxa
Hi Bill, the power board in your TV has been extremely reliable and had few failures, it's very simple to test the board, you will see a marking on the board saying 8v standby 13 on, with the set off you should see 8 volts, power it on and you should see 13. See what you see for voltage there and get back to me, if you don't see 13 with the set on it doesn't mean the power board as the main could be the issue, but lets get the 1st test done before digging deeper into it.

Samsung bd-c5500 door no longer opens and closes with the disc tray. How do I reattach so it opens and closes with the disc tray?
If the door of your Samsung BD-C5500 Blu-ray player is no longer opening and closing with the disc tray, it may be due to a misaligned or disconnected door mechanism. Here are the steps to reattach the door so that it opens and closes with the disc tray:
- Unplug the Blu-ray player from the power outlet.
- Locate the small white gear wheel that controls the opening and closing of the door. This gear is located near the front of the disc tray, on the right-hand side.
- Check the gear to see if it is misaligned or if there are any broken parts. If the gear is misaligned, carefully realign it so that it meshes correctly with the other gears in the mechanism. If any parts are broken, you may need to replace the mechanism or the entire Blu-ray player.
- Once the gear is aligned, locate the metal arm that connects the gear to the door. This arm is located on the left-hand side of the door.
- Carefully reattach the metal arm to the plastic tab on the door. You may need to use a small screwdriver or pliers to hold the tab in place while you attach the arm.
- Once the arm is securely attached, plug in the Blu-ray player and test the door mechanism by pressing the open/close button on the remote or on the front panel of the player. The door should now open and close with the disc tray.
If you are unable to reattach the door mechanism or if the problem persists, it is recommended that you contact a professional repair service or the manufacturer for further assistance.

Remove the back from the TV, unhook the cable going from the power board to main, plug the set in and see if you get backlights, if you don't replace the lamp strips, if you do message me back and I'll get you some other help but I think you will find the lamps don't light up when you power the set up with the connector unhooked!

Samsung remote and Amazon Firestick
t's possible that the 5-year-old accidentally changed the input source on the Samsung TV, which is why you can't get the Fire Stick to work. Here are the steps you can follow to switch the input source back to the HDMI port where your Fire Stick is connected:
- Turn on your Samsung TV and your Amazon Fire Stick.
- Using your Samsung remote, press the "Input" button.
- A list of input sources should appear on your screen. Use the arrow keys on your remote to select the HDMI port where your Fire Stick is connected. The HDMI port may be labeled as "HDMI 1," "HDMI 2," or something similar.
- Press the "Enter" or "OK" button on your remote to select the HDMI input source.
- Your TV should now switch to the HDMI input where your Fire Stick is connected, and you should see the Fire Stick's home screen on your TV.
If you're still having trouble, try unplugging the Fire Stick and plugging it back in to make sure it's properly connected. Also, make sure the TV and Fire Stick are both updated to their latest software versions.

Samsung 50 UN50J5200AFXZA Lines on screen
Going by what you've described, I'd say you have a bad panel and the set isn't fixable however try this before junking the TV, remove the flat ribbon cables, clean then replace them, if that doesn't fix it you can replace the tcon board
however I don't think this will help, sorry I don't have better news for you.
