Red light temp comes on
Hey thompsonsrj, basing my answer only what little I have learned about one part of your problem you pointed out the screeching sound... my tv also did this and I discovered through research that it is indicative of the Color Wheel going bad. It is a $100 or so dollar part and can be replaced with a bit of elbow grease. As far as the overheating, possible cooling fan issue, I am unsure if they are related? I hope this helps a little? Thanks, Will

Have you studied your
manual on lamp replacement? See Here:
as well as in your manual. Sometimes the
lamp must be reseated
by removing it and reinstalling it with great care
the door and all the gaps are closed tight.
If the lamp replacement or reinstallation does not
problem you will likely need a service tech to
look at the tv
as there are few user serviceable items for Plasma
of the repairs are done by computer connection
the error messages and interprets what went wrong.
Hope this helps.

Picture suddenly went out and the lamp and temp
Hi,If your tv is between 2-4 yrs most likely it's time to replace the lamp.If you hear continuous clicking it could be the ballast which is the board that powers the lamp.If you hear buzzing it could be the color wheel, which is a spinning wheel that creates the color on your tv.God bless you!

you have a bad board, maybe the power supply/deflection board, maybe the signal board, to troubleshoot this problem you need a qualified tv repairman. or you could replace the whole board yourself, the power supply board is about $200, the signal module is about $500, i'd start with the cheaper one, or hope the repairman can fix it at component level.

How to replace samsung hln4365w lamp
It is fairly simple to do. Just remember to turn OFF the tv, and DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP ITSELF. Here is an online manual that has the instructions on page 10 of the manual. Just copy and paste this into your browser navigation bar.

Replaced bulb still dosen't work
Actually the issue could be either with your color wheel or with yoru ballast, if you hear buzzing, whirling, whinning sound, it's most probable that the color wheel is defective, but if you hear a constant clicking sound the issue might be with the ballast, discountdashmerchantdotcom, free troubleshoot. You might ask yourself why could the other two parts affect the image, he thing is that since they're part of the light engine system as well as the lmap and dmd board, when one of the doesn't work, you won't get an image, since you could say they work together

Samsung sp47w3hf1x - no picture no sound
You have listed two different model numbers.
Please look on the right side of the set and you will see a sticker listing the Model# Serial# and the Version#. I need the Model# and the Version#. If your set has no side sticker then look on the back of the set and read the Model# from there. Then report this info back to me.

I am having a problem with my Samsung HLN4365W DLP
Thanks for contacting Fixya.
Have you removed the back of the set and cleaned the fans every 6 months. It is a projector that depends on two computer fans to keep the lamp and the DMD control module within proper temperature limits. If those fans get dirty and slow down or stop, bad things happen. All it takes is a screwdriver and the brushy atttachment to your vac hose.
Now this happend, because a bad soldering connections in that module. Lines will come on and off. Probably 1 day will stay on. For last 2-3 years im seen that only on hlm and hln series. Probably
happens on other models. but, i never seen that. Is not that hard to replace that module. You have to remove 2 screws from left side and 1 screw from bottom righ side of module and 4 of them
from around dlp unit unpulag all cables ( i think 3 cables ) that it. Same way install new one in.
but you will need to adjust a module position to get picture to fill whole screen.

Tv used to make a whining sound when we turned it
Well that humming sound is indeed the color wheel, you say you already replaced it.
The thing is that there are two types of color wheels one with a silver bearing and another one with a gold one, for example if your Tv uses a gold bearing colorwheel and you buy a silver one, it's not going to work, if you still have the orginal colorwheel which i think you did since you replaced it last night, just make sure what color the bearing is. Because the color wheel is the one causing the issues on your TV.
