That is a problem with your main board - some of your inputs work fine and another is bogus. The tv input is not working because there could be a defect in your tuner. If you have cable try a different input for the signal.from the box. If you are using OTA, then use an external HD OTA tuner to feed your set.

Set uses two tuners, one for regular and one for PIP. If normal with DVD OR SOMETHING INTO REAR INPUTS, MAIN TUNER IS PROBLEM

This problem can show up if there is a problem with your HDMI cable. See if problem exists with antenna signal. If it is only on input from HDMI input, change to a new cable.

I know this may seem dumb but if you are using component video (the red green blue with the white and red audio cables) it could very well be that the green cable (carries the green signal) is the problem. try changing the configuration (ex: use blue to carry the green signal and vice versa) if the green starts to work and the blue stops then its just your cable.

it sounds like you have blown a lamp in your tv.

Remove and inspect the lamp first to make sure it is not shattered--color wheel faces it and can cause this problem also--set monitors the speed and if wheel not running or running too slow it will shut down the set.Look at wheel to make sure it is intact---some of them do come apart and pieces will be missing.

Two things to look at---------the lamp to see if shattered inside AND with it removed look where it faces at the color wheel--see attached photo.Look to see if any segments are broken, missing etc. Many of the wheels fail in this way and some will have a high pitched or even fan like sound before they fail.Some when really bad will make a grinding noise also. The set monitors the speed of the wheel and if it slows or stops the set will almost instantly turn the lamp off(if possible watch from area where lamp is to see if at turn on to see if it for a moment lights or not.

If you mean is how to clean the inside dust?..You can used vacuum cleaner and brush to clean or remove the dust..

That kind of symptoms indicated that the color wheel is already faulty. Confirm where the buzzing sound came from, if it is in front/near the lamp assembly, then you have to replaced the color wheel to resolve the issue.

Leave it unplug from wall for 40Min, and that might reset it back to normal, or check for a blown fuse.

The analog board is usually at fault when that happens with that model.

You are absolutely correct, When anyone complains of vertical lines or bars, the next step is to see if it happens on only digital inputs ( digital board ) , only analog inputs ( analog board ) , or both ( DMD board ) .

These sets are known to have issues with the digital board. Parts can be bought from www.samsungparts.com The part isn't cheap. when it freezes up does the video stop then after so long the video goes blank then it comes back to normal. Sometimes unplugging them will make them work for a short time but after a few days to a week or so they start acting up again.

those units have had problems with the siganl board and dm module both having solder connection problems and require to be sent out to a rebuilder that can handle that special work you might call samsung consumer and see if its uner and class actions or recalls
other wise it will be a local servicer to assist you further with its problems

This is a clear sign of power source ageing - it's no longer capable of delivering the current needed to start all the components of the tv. Almost surely this is caused by a failure of the capacitors. See this to learn how to spot and replace them
