Rear projection TV's have fans that can become noisy with age also the colour wheel motor also can become noisy. Replacing the fans should be easy and cheap, the colour wheel motor not so much.

Hello, You would need to test the voltage coming to the ballast which depending on the ballast should be at least 320V but nothing higher than 370V maybe even 380V?
