You require a laser assembly. As they have not been produced for 20 years, depending on the model number, there will only be copies on fleabay as NOS lasers are not reliable.

Hi Lindeni, switch off the entire system, remove the power feed from the electricity, let the amp stand for about 10mins or so. Then remove all the speaker wires from the back and all the rca/hdmi connectors from the input sockets etc. reconnect the power wire to electrcity and switch on the amp. If the amp clicks on and goes back in to shutdown/protection mode, the there is an internal circuit problem. you will then need to take it in for repairs. If the amp screen stays on etc, then you mite have a wiring OR a speaker problem with one or two of your speakers. Best to get all the speakers and cables independantly checked before carrying out this testing. cheers.

Hi Josh, if the installation was done by yourself, check the wiring of the yellow and red cables. the yellow one should be connected directly to an uniterrupted strong +12volt supply line, like the +ve battery line. the red wire can be connected to this line as well, or it can be connected to a "switched +12volt" supply line like the accessory line of the ignition switch barrel. cheers.

Hi nick, there could be a problem with the unit wiring or with the speakers connected to the unit. Firstly Have your unit independantely bench tested, if all is okay then you know the problem is with your spk wiring or with the speakers. If there are any speakers that you know that are not working, then isolate them and recheck the sound. if the unit is found to be faulty then best to hand it to a repair technician. cheers.

"Error 22" on a Pioneer usually means an unsupported CD format. The disc you are trying to play is not supported or is very badly scratched so the player cannot determine the format.
