Pioneer DEH-P2000 CD Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
When I try to play
Consult your owner's manual for error codes. You have a disk/disk reader problem. A similar model Pioneer Manual indicates FRMTREAD as what is displayed while reading a disk. Error 15 equates to "The inserted disk does not contain any data". If this occurs with multiple disks, try the disks in a known good cd player. If they work there, it is likely a reader problem (alignment, bad reader, etc.) which would likely not be worth repairing or replacing in that unit.

When I turned my engine
Make sure the yellow wire is going to a constant power source. It should be a source that still has voltage with the key off.

I have a Pioneer DEH-P2000.
On most of the Pioneers you can program the channels by tuning to the station you want, then pressing and holding the number key you want it stored to.
Hope this helps

With the pioneer cd player,Can I wire the yellow
If to connect in your car, red is constant power (for memory of stations, etc.), and yellow is accessory in your car (when key is turned on to ACC, to power receiver). If receiver used for other application outside of a car, make sure you have enough separate fuse protection and place an ON/OFF switch in series with your yellow wire, to avoid power sorurce being drained.
Hope this helps

PIONEER 300 WATT CAR STEREO AMP WIREING HOW TOO
depending on how many channels the amp is, you may not be able to hook everything up to it.
usually you have a separate amp for subs. 4 channel amp for the speakers in the car, and a mono amp for the subs.
To hook them all up to the same amp you would need an amp with 5 channels. It wouldn't work out right.
If you have a mono amp its only for subs.
If you have a 2 channel you can either hook it up to the rear speakers or bridge them to mono to run the subs.
you need a channel per speaker basically.

I need wiring color coding 4 pioneer deh 2050mpg?
Not to question you about the red being constant power but I have a pioneer deh-1600 car stereo and red is hooked to electric terminal controlled by ignition switch (on/off) and if your unit has a yellow wire that goes to constant power. The only problem with hooking up the red wire to constant would be if you happened to accidentally leave your player on it could drain the battery. Hope this helped a little. Good luck.

Wiring my pioneer deh -p2000 to my speekers
Check the back of your receiver, to see the plug with a set of 8 wires that should have the following color standard:
Left front: White
Right Front: Grey
Left Rear: Green
Right Rear: Purple
Note: 1) Colored wires with a line/stripe on it is NEGATIVE, thus connect to negative on speaker. When connected, speaker cone should vibrate OUT, not inwards, otherwise reverse speaker connection;
2) You can check to see if speakers are in the right order by 'panning' balance and fader controls (from left front only to right front only, to right rear only, to left rear only in succession)
3)If there is an amplifier in your setup, the RCA plugs (like home audio plugs, should be connected instead, NEVER both!)
Hope this helps
