I doubt a main board will correct this, it sounds like LED backlight issues, if you have a multimeter use frame as ground and red lead to backlight B+, you should see 80+ VDC, if you do you have backlight failure and the strips need replacing

Remote replacement for craig cht904
It will be very difficult to get a universal remote control for this device. The only way to get its remote is, to contact the authorized service center for Craig at your town. I've searched for codes over 1200 remote manuals, but can't find a remote control which has setup code with this device.
