Pfaff 'Ambition 1.0. Serviced in Jan as started breaking top thread after few stitches. Worked for few weeks after service but now problem has recurred.
Take it back cause he didn't fix it right , has a timing issue and if he did fix it then he didn't tighten up his work and it slipped out of adjustment!

Hi I have a pfaff 7570 which sews very slowly and does straight stitch only even when the setting is for fancy stitching. Can anybody out there help me? Thanks
The very first thing to do is Make sure all of your cables are FIRMLY attached and that the foot control is connected. Make sure the bobbin winder is in the sewing position (see Manual for details of this).

I am in need of english instructions for using the Pfaff Grand Dream Hoop English Instructions for using Grand Dream Hoop
I haven't found any real instructions for using the grand dream hoop. Pfaff has some tricks for using the hoop in their blog about the large, turnable hoop here: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Inspiration/PFAFF-Blog/February-2015/The-Grand-Dream-Hoop . There is a document for using the Pfaff 5D embroidery software to prepare an embroidery design for the Creative Grand Dream Hoop: http://www.donssewing.com/images/Pfaff_Creative_Grand_Dream_Hoop.pdf . Most of these directions will apply to the 4D and 6D programs. I hope this helps. Beyond that, I suspect setting up the hoop in the embroidery unit is the same for all Pfaff hoops. Cindy Wells

How can I adjust the foot tension on my Pfaff 1475? When I release the foot it doesn't go al the way down. and when I push it all the way down, it doesn't stay down.
Pfaff sewing machines are difficult to repair in most cases but you can try if you like. The arm that goes up and down when you push on the foot is adjusted to a spring that rises and falls. It is adjustable by a screw that holds the spring and the arm together. By loosening the screw the arm is movable up or down as necessary.

Pfaff 1467 pressure foot won't go right down, lever feels loose
It sounds like a part is loose or has come off inside the lever mechanism. This model is now 5 years old and unless you can open up the head and examine the moving parts without voiding the machine warranty it is probably best to have a technician repair it.

Cannot raise the feed on my Pfaff ambition essential.
Lowering feed dogs You can lower the feed dogs by moving the switch at the back of the free arm to the left. Move the switch to the right if you wish to raise the feed dogs. Note: The feed dogs will not raise immediately when the lever is switched. Turn the handwheel one full turn or start sewing to re-engage the feed dogs. I found an online place which may be able to assist you to find what you are looking for: [email protected] Not all machine serial numbers have production information built into them. Spool thread jammed up in the bobbin area. took tweezers and got what thread I could out. I still think there's a thread that's keeping it for working. How do I get to it on a Pfaff creative 1475cd.
Hello Roz If there is some thread caught in the bobbing case area, the best solution is to remove the bobbin case and disassemble the bobbin case area. This is shown on page 16 of the manual. On my 2140...The black thingy that the bobbin case fits onto is loose in there...is that hard to fix
Look for articles quoting hook, base and bobbin case. Youtube is excellent on things like this. There should be a clip either side to lock the piece in place.
