I need to know how to thread a PFAFF syncromatic 1200
Unfortunately, documentation is not available for the Pfaff Synchromatic 1200. Pfaff does have the manuals for the Syncrhromatic 1209 and 1215. The threading pattern probably didn't change much between the 1200 and these other machines. Look at page 7 of the Synchromatic 1209 here, http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/Synchromatic_1209-manual-EN.PDF , to see if this helps. Unlike most sewing machines, the 1209 doesn't thread the upper thread from right to left. Instead, you bring the thread from the spool to a slot on the top left. Then work down to the guide, up to the take up lever, and down through the next guide as you move the thread to the right to the needle. I hope this helps. I need to know how to replace the camstack on my Pfaff 1212 sewing machine. Do you have any information that would help me?
Try- before you start move needle position up, mark with pen position of camstack and the body of the machine. REMEMBER the position of the cams on old camstack as you will need to place new camstack in the same way!! Loosen the screw holding the shaft of the c/stack, also loosen 4 screws holding the whole assy so you can lift the assy above the edge of the body,. rotate gently the c/stack and its shaft till you get it out. C/stack is secured on shaft with small colar. remove and fit new c/stack SAME WAY as the old one. follow the procedure in reverse. Regards, JB

Pfaff 1214 what does inside the hand wheel look like
remove the screw and look at the exposewd part- looks like oval with a little beak. The beak fits into the openning and locks wheel into drive. Spring is placed inside the oval part but HARD to squeze in to the space. Try. Regards, JB

Pfaff 1229 cannot seem to get tension right i thought changed thread and ive spent the last hour trying to get it to stop looping underneath, ive re threaeded adjusted uppper tension but not working?
Lots of reasons for this. Tension, needle size, material and thread have to meet conditions for the material sewn. Make sure the thread is not old as thread deteriorates and can cause minute knots. Make sure you are threading the needle correctly. (I've been sewing for many years and sometimes DO NOT thread the needle correctly, it's easily done). Make sure the thread in the bobbin and top thread are the same. Make sure the needle is not bent or dull. Make sure that under the feedplate has no lint or bits of thread. I hope this helps. :-)
