If you forget the passcode "press recall four times within 5 seconds from the V-Chip menu.This allow you to proceed to the blocking menu and resets your PIN code. OK.

hello, usually in that case, the cause to the failure, is the inverter board. but first you have to chek the 24v that should be supplied to the inverter. if the voltage is ok. then you should replace the inverter board

When using cable input video is good but sound has fuzzy static
Your TVs tuner tuned a little off frequency. It could be as simple as having cable box on where you have good picture but fuzzy sound, use the TVs remote to change the channel and then change it back to proper channel. If that doesn't fix you may have wrong tuning type selected in channel set up menu.
My universal remote stopped working, I bought
It was the TV set! I googled remote control problems and went on one of the websites......The answer was quite simple, unplug the TV for a few minutes and let it reset itself. I did and it did! I guess it's no different than a cell phone or computer sometimes!

If it is the first case, then there si a problem with your TVs SMPS. It is not generating the required regulated 110V required for the TVs functioning.
If it is case 2, then there is a simple adjustment at the back - 'SCREEN'. This adjusts the Screen Grid Voltage, and by slightly lowering it, this problem will go away.

Jeff, If your not a technician please dont mess with the set as you can get seriuoly hurt by experimenting. And replacing a fuse that is black is only going to blow again and possibly cause more problems and damage the set more then it already is. Your problem is a shorted B+ rectifier or a capacitor or voltage regulator IC. If you don,t know what this is, or you don't know how to solder, as well as unsolder, Please seek out a pro to assit you with this repair. Good Luck

it sounds like the issue may be with the AV MAIN board. The power board is providing the correct voltage to the board, but the board itself may be malfunctioning. It may be necessary to replace the AV MAIN board in order to resolve the issue with the TV not producing video or sound. It is also possible that the problem could be elsewhere, but the AV MAIN board would be a good place to start troubleshooting.

Toshiba hdd/vcr/dvd recorder stuck on avi - won't change to tv using input on handset
Hi,
please attempt to change the input from the Toshiba recording device directly. You might switch between modes on the Toshiba by pressing 1 of the hdd, vcr or dvd buttons. If this doesn't work, you can power cycle the device and then attempt to changed the mode from the Toshiba directly again. Otherwise, you might need to eject any disc that's currently in the device before attempting to change modes again.
